Hello it’s me again, happy to say had no more episodes since the last three in four days, one of which was extremely bad, gasping for breath etc, soon after I began to feel very scared my stomach in constant fear, the Doc put me on Diazepam which is working but when I tried to do without it comes back

Newly diagnosed with aortic aneurysm and bicuspid aortic valve
I've always had a certain amount of shortness of breath; I was never good at cross-country or sports at school and I remember being given a Ventolin inhaler on the off-chance that I had mild asthma. I also remember that it made no difference. I've been fairly active in my adult life, doing a fair bit

Prior to starting medication to reduce my blood pressure now taking 10mg of Amlodipine my Tinnitus has appeared to increased somewhat significantly. Has this happened to any of the forum members? Would love to hear your news. Kind regards to all.

What’s the best medications for Vagal afib?
I have Vagal AF. It has not been diagnosed by my cardiologist, he just says I have a fib, but I should eat slower. But it only happens mostly after I eat a big meal. I told him that I have never had afib until I was put on sotalol for high blood pressure. He seems to think that sotalol is the best medication

Amlodopine - Y or N ?
Firstly - I'm brand new to the forum & looking for advice. I fully realise that this is NOT a medical site, but just looking for general thoughts / comments. I'm a relatively fit just turned 60 yo. I cycle 5.5m to & from work every day & swim a mile once a week. Diet is pretty good, non-smoker but I

Just a brief update, went to Docs yesterday and had Ramipril increased to 5 mg as my blood pressure was still too high, still waiting for echo test, feeling ok the fear has left my stomach, don’t need Diazepam anymore

Worrying reaction to something
Ive had frequent episodes in which my face turns red, have slight swelling in nose and cheeks, feel a bit hot and bothered and generally unwell. On three occasions, these were accompanied by extreme fatigue and some aches and shivers really knocking me out for a couple of days. Ive had the milder episodes

3rd Episode of AF, since ablation in July and thinking ? Triggers. Possibly Amlodipine?
Hi all, I was in persistent AF before my ablation. Had 2 episodes since the 10th July ablation in August and October, then last week 18th Feb. The first 2 I was anaemic, but not this time. Had recently started Amlodipine tho, for BP that had been increasingly rising - up to 150/160 over 90-110, when

I am taking both medicines every day, my blood pressure around 140/90, do I need to change to a different medication? I am taking these medicines for over 8 months.

Finally, hope.
Today I saw my consultant for the first time since my HA on 15-12-19. He listened to my concerns and agreed that my SOB could be caused in part by ticagrelor and that I have a Ramipril cough, and changed both these meds. (to copidogrel and Losartan) I wouldn’t have been so assertive and sure of myself

Drinking and cardiomyopathy
Hello, new to the forum and recently diagnosed with moderate myopathy and put on bisoprolol and ramipril 1.25mg When speaking to the doctor, I asked about drinking and he seemed fairly set on stopping altogether soon as I asked ‘can I drink on these tablets’ but I get the impression he got the idea
