amlodipine and anxiety

hey guys

I am taking high blood pressure since 5 years and that made my life like hell.consistence suffering from side effects.my question is can amlodipine cause anxiety?since it is making a fast heart rate for me and I am suffering from insomnia as well.though I am not an alcoholic nor a smoker and I exercise regularly

I’ve had no side effects with that med..my pulse is always low 60’s..there are many hypertension meds that slow the heart rate... what does your Dr. say??
