The radiologist said my liver looked bright red, he then said I have fatty liver but that is nothing to worry about and very common but that didn't reassure me, after all cancer is very common. He asked if I took a lot of pills to which I replied yes.

hi all, i had ultra sound and Doc said it was fatty liver. I told him i was currently being treated for bladder cancer and he said I needed to go back to GP . GP has now done more bloods and i suspect she is testing for liver cancer. Initially I had an ALT of 37 and it increased to 52.

after 9years of trips to hospital and venesection s I’ve been told today that I do not have Cirrhosis or fatty liver disease. Hurrah. Don’t know who will understand this news.

Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD or NASH) and fibroscan results. Has anyone come across scale that diagnosed F4 (cirrhosis) based on fibroscan result below 11 kPa?

A chance fibroscan has shown I have fatty liver. My cap score was 362 but my kpa was only 2.5. I'm 46 and I'm not overweight, my bmi is in normal range. My diet isn't always the healthiest although I do eat a lot of homecooked food with veggies.

Hi All, today I had a fibro scan which revealed that my liver has no scarring with a score of 3.9kpa which was good news, however, the cap score was 307 which was worrying. I gave up alcohol 6 months ago following an attack of acute pancreatitis and being hospitalised for 4 days, this event was enough

Nothing else was mentioned but today I went to my GP and she told me that fatty liver had been diagnosed on the ultrasound and my liver was enlarged and I needed a FIB4 blood test to confirm if I had fibrosis or not.

Am interested in others experiences… Have just been told after recent abdominal US I have fatty liver disease. Have never had previous issues. Has anyone else on Hydrea discovered this as another new diagnoses?? My bloods and LFT all seem ok. Can Hydrea affect your liver in this way?
