Fatty Liver

I was having stomach pain for a long time so GP sent me for an ultrasound scan. The radiologist said my liver looked bright red, he then said I have fatty liver but that is nothing to worry about and very common but that didn't reassure me, after all cancer is very common. He asked if I took a lot of pills to which I replied yes. I take about 10 prescription pills daily and also about 10 supplements as I have migraine and a few health conditions. I am overweight by 2 stone and have a large belly so I would think that this was the problem not the pills. The GP has given me no advice so I wonder if anyone has been told fatty liver is caused by pills? I also had jaundice when I was around 5 which was viral but I was told this doesn't damage liver long term. I don't know whether my liver is causing any pain as I have IBS and acid reflux as well so has anyone been told that it can cause stomach pain. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
