Fluctuating Thyroid Profile and CKD
Hello everyone! I have posted several times this week. I have already mentioned that my gfr drops to 25 from 34 in 2 months . I was searching for the potential reason. I got report of my thyroid profile today. The TSH is below 0.01 which was 7.2 two months before. It means it had now become a

Suffering symptoms of b12 deficiency whilst not getting b12 injections
I'm suffering with extreme tiredness aches all over and pins and needles in fingers and toes. I'm going for b12 blood test next week full blood count and intrinsic factor. I'm really upset that I have to suffer these symptoms and I am worried that it will show a high reading as it has done before.

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements

Why We need B12. How it was discovered.
I have been doing some research and it all confirms what my Consultant told me 40 years ago. There were three men Minot, Whipple and Murphy who worked on this and were awarded the Nobel prize for discovering that Pernicious Anaemia was different from ordinary Anaemia. They used to give patients liver

Association Between Dihydrotestosterone and Long-Term Risk for PCa Mortality
New study below [1]. To skip the preamble, read below "***". Ever since Huggins discovered that castration offered palliation for men with PCa, albeit temporary, there has been a belief that testosterone [T[ acts like gasoline on a fire. A number of study papers have appeared over the past 15 years

B12 injections stopped by GP.
My GP has stopped my B12 injections altogether and is saying it has nothing to do with the pandemic, that this was going to happen anyway. I was having injections every 8 weeks, due to pernicious anaemia. Intrinsic factor antibody test was positive when diagnosed 2 and a half years ago. Being told that

Anti VEGF injection - cloudy vision
Hi all, I had my first anti VEGF injection yesterday and I was wondering if it is normal that your vision becomes blurry after the injection and how long it last for? Thanks in advance

Ramipril & Covid-19
Someone sent an article from a newspaper yesterday that described certain ACE inhibitors and Ramipril was mentioned as they can make the symptoms of Covid-19 much worse. Do others subscribe to this or have anyone been told by their GP or hospital to stop taking Ramipril if they have Covid-19 or its symptoms

ACE inhibitors, AR Blockers and NCOV-19
One of the first studies investigating the association between ACE-inhibitors, AR- blockers, and outcome in NCOV-19 has recently been published. Although based on a relatively small sample size, the conclusions do appear to be encouraging: "We observed that patients receiving ACEI or ARB therapy had

Issues with Methyl B12?
After a lot of physical and mental health (anxiety, panic) issues over the years I started to get my b12 checked monthly with my usual bloodwork. First one came in at 325 with sporadic sublingual use of cyano 2500 mcg. I stopped the supplement and ate heavily carnivore for five weeks and next test was

Angiotensin antihypertensives and COVID-19: No clear added risk nor protection.
Yesterday in a reply I raised the possibility of whether angiotensin-related anti-hypertensive drugs, ACE inhibitors or ARBs would have any protective effect on COVID-19 infectivity, having heard that the virus uses "ACE2" as a receptor. The current NEJM issue has an article summarizing this complex

BP meds
Hi, I have been taking ACE inhibitors to control my blood pressure for a few years. As I work in a supermarket doing online shopping and come into contact with people. Am I in the "at risk" category with COVID-19? Please could you advise. Thank you.

When I'm on letrozole for 5months I couldn't conceive but when I did this butterfly pose I did conceived on the same month but ended up MC with undiagnosed thyroid issues. Try butterfly pose which helps open those blocked tubes with castor oil pack after doing this pose... Follow for one tip a day..
