Too much b12
Hi All I am a vegetarian/vegan and became b12 deficient around 7 years ago which, in my opinion, was caused by lack of b12 in my diet and my doctor putting me on omaprezole. I have received injections up until April 8 when my surgery cancelled injections and put me on 50 ml tablets twice daily. The only

Hands getting worse
Hi, I’m still not diagnosed for sure but am having problems with hands on & off now for weeks. Bad day today, knuckles throbbing & tingling, wrists hurt. All joints in hands feel like seizing up, body stiff as well after rest. Does this sound like RA? Rheumatoid Factor 55, ultrasound, bloods normal.

Positive intrinsic factor
Hi everyone, I’m a newbie here! The doctor have confirmed my intrinsic factor is positive and therefore, I will need b12 injections for the rest of my life. This is not a complete shock, but I was wondering if so could do anything else to ease my symptoms, or recommend anything that will be useful

Does PA get worse in time?
Hi Folks Just a question of interest really. I have autoimmune thyroid disease (underactive). Back in summer 2018 I had borderline low active b12 (34 range 25.1-165) and symptoms, but tested negative for intrinsic factor antibodies (I know this is a test with a high possibility of a false negative).

They advised me to stop the supplements two weeks before so I had my last injection on Tuesday past,I’m really suffering bad feet and legs pain and burning again staggering again feel itchy all over my shoulders,

Why are all tests normal? If I don’t have Crohn’s then what?
MRI enterography was normal (not really a surprise, everything is always normal). Does anybody have an idea of what could cause the following? I’ve been having symptoms for years but all these tests are normal. It started with mild gas issues, then it progressed to abdominal discomfort and gas when

PA B12 and H Pylori???
Hi all I haven't posted on here before but find the site really helpful. Sorry for the long post. I was diagnosed with PA about 1 year ago. I only know it's PA because my intrinsic factor test came back positive and I researched it myself. I had no conversation with a doctor! Sooo frustrating!

Arm/wrist
I've got an apt 8the june with a rheumatologist. I've got a positive ana, raised esr, high rheumatoid factor and positive ccp. I'm petrified this pain is something like cancer. My right wrist started hurting and then left 2 lumps. Now I don't know if it's the lumps that are hurting or my actual wrist

Covid 19 protection
Hi. So in contrast to recent speculation in the media it appears that drugs such as ARB's and Ace inhibitors may provide some protection against coronavirus. http://links.mkt1881.com/ctt

ACE Inhibitors
There is currently uncertainty whether ACE Inhibitors, (they treat high blood pressure and the drug name ends in ‘pril’), encourage or deter Coronavirus. If anyone sees any fact based opinions on the question I would be grateful if they could post it on this Forum, or contact me. If I ever have to go

My intrinsic factor antibody test came back at 1.1 (normal range 0-1.1). I was told that because my number is trending upward it should be considered positive. My B12 was 234 but many neuro symptoms including twitching, burning feet, ears ringing, anxiety. My question is....should this number be an
