Sarcoidosis anyone?
Has anyone been diagnosed with this? Ive had a bad swollen lymph node in my neck, itchy lesions all over my body and dry eyes and my doctor thinks sarcoidosis might be the reason why. He wants to biopsy my lymph node and do a chest X-ray. Not sure if the Vaccine caused it but the timing is suspicious

Iron Infusions - the type of iron used may matter.
Here is a rather long and confusing article. Read it if you need to be lulled to sleep. https://journals.physiology.org/doi/full/10.1152/japplphysiol.91076.2008 In it I found a ridiculously interesting paragraph as follows: "Deficits in regional brain iron and changes in uptake and efflux of brain

More advice needed.
I wrote to the practice manager as advised, about the lack of treatment. Ive just had a text message saying i dont have b12 deficiency anaemia as my haemoglobin and mcv levels are normal, and the guidlines i quoted pre date covid, and they have been told tratment has to be oral cyanocobalamin. She

Face to Face Rheumatology Visit yesterday
I just thought I'd share my experience yesterday. I'd had a phone call with him in June and from that he ordered lots of blood tests, a chest x-ray. chest CT scan, abdo CT scan and dexascan. He stepped in the room (only just - stood in the doorway as if he wasn't staying) and introduced himself then

MY B12 result 183 (range 180-640) all else OK incl intrinsic factor. GP won't treat unless B12 lower than 150, despite my having neurological symptoms, muscle fatigue and lack of appetite. I feel really quite unwell and not sure what to do. I've started B12 sublingual myself at 1000mcg. Father and

Lung Conditions
Hi I've had a chronic cough for as long as I can remember but in April this year I started getting blood in my phlegm when I got up in the morning. I have never been a big drinker of water but after looking at some information on the internet, I realised I could be suffering from dehydration so started

Iron blood test
I've ordered a full iron panel test from medichecks, but just wondering presumably I should stop my b vitamin complex a week ahead, but what about my iron supplements? Should I stop these as with any thyroid test?

Gastro intestinal issues
Have any of you experienced Gastro issues with Docetaxel. My husband feels so bloated, feels like he’s not emptying out all the way, not passing gas. His Oncologist told him try gas x and miralax. He still feels very uncomfortable. Thought If any of you have had this maybe you would have some suggestions

3rd Aortic valve replacement
Thankyou so much to all of you that have replied to my first post. I have been poorly for a while, I thought I had a chest infection, as my lungs are pretty rubbish as well as my heart. I had an Echo done a while back and the report from it came through over the weekend. If anyone can help me translate

well....(deep subject)... my PSA has gone up (again) and is now ALMOST 1000. It's 980.0 My platelets having dropped to 6,000. I was prepared to argue with my oncologist about doing the chemo (Jevtana) that she has me scheduled for again on Thursday...but, alas... there was no argument. She concurred
