Results Advice
Hi I’m looking for some advice on my recent bloods please, since my last test I dropped my levo back to 100mg a day and increased my lio by 5mg so I’m a little confused as to why my T3 has dropped🤷♀️the only thing I can think of is that I’ve been using Morningside lio for my 10mg dose in the morning

Targinact
I have had RLS for over 20 years and have tried most medications, the latest being Pregabalin, which was good but is now not working so well. I therefore asked my GP if I could try Targinact as I read this is now licensed for RLS. He has agreed and I just need to taper Pregabalin. Can anyone

hi I have been desperate for sleep but my RLS has been so bad that I’ve found it impossible I managed to get a GP appointment and told her my story and background and although she was sympathetic said the RLS I’d very difficult to control I told her I had no desire to go back on to a DA and my problems

Please help in tracing the Post, effective control RLS by using Casrol oil pads
I have extensive RLS of all body parts, which is making my life hell. I saw within the past 3 months, a post by an RLS patient that he has been able to control effectively RLS by using Castor oil pads. But, I have not been able to locate the post due to my limitations, I would appreciate it if any

positive then negative intrinsic factor
hi guys, I had a positive intrinsic factor blood test back in April and this was before any b-12 injections. Since then, the doctors have wanted to do two other intrinsic factor blood tests and both came back negative and the doctors are confused why is this? Thanks, Ella (:

Asthma anxiety
Hello everyone, I am just writing a post as I wanted to see if I am alone in this and whether anyone has any suggestions to help. I will give a bit of a backstory to this. I had mild asthma from the age of 13 however it wasn't serious enough that my parents never took me to get diagnosed. Fast forward

Learning and Careers with B12 Anemia
Hi everyone, I wanted to know what everyone studied and does for a living here. I am feeling down because I have not done well with college and keeping a job because of my anemia. I just want to know if anyone else went thru that, still is dealing with that, and/or is able to live a normal life. I

Now on the LVV journey too
I posted recently about being sent for a PET CT scan as I have leg claudication in addition to my usual PMR and GCA. Got my results and plan today. Scan positive in head, most of aorta, both legs and left arm. I expect my right arm feels left out 😀. Anyway, back to 60mg prednisone and consultant is

canker sore, low wbc and GI infection
Hi all, I’m nearing 8 months post transplant. Up until last week, things were going really well. My kidney function was the best it had been a gfr of 64 and I was starting to feel a return to normal. I had a low wbc but transplant center wasn’t concerned. And then the SH*T hit the fan. I came down

Erfa swap update
my ferritin has just come back as 28 (5-204) I think this is my iron store so it’s clearly deficient. I’ve struggled with anaemia since I was about 18 (maybe before but no cause before then for a blood test it was discovered when I became a donor) No one has ever given me a reason for this! And I

CARDIAC COUGH
I have had a cough since going into heart failure. It is getting worse all the time. I knew it was to do with my heart but my g.p. sent me for a chest x-ray which is clear and l did a sputum test which showed no infection. I have been trying to get referred to the cardiologist which my g.p. seems

Newbie here :)
Hi all, I've been using this site for a couple of months now so I thought it was time to introduce myself 😊. I first realised that my symptoms were a bit more than 'getting older' in May this year. My RA diagnosis and treatment has been delayed, firstly by having to wait 2 months for an ultrasound

one last question ( hopefully)
I have finally managed to get an appointment with my GP where I hope to convince him to give me B12 injections more often that once every 8 weeks and I never had a loading doses so am hoping for that too. I hope I can get him to do some tests, like size shape and number of red blood cells, intrinsic

Is it possible to have antibodies to parietal cells but not to intrinsic factor? I have no intrinsic factor.
