Hi I’m looking for some advice on my recent bloods please, since my last test I dropped my levo back to 100mg a day and increased my lio by 5mg so I’m a little confused as to why my T3 has dropped🤷‍♀️the only thing I can think of is that I’ve been using Morningside lio for my 10mg dose in the morning and Teva for my split doses of 5mg in the afternoon and evening?

Started taking an iron supplement so I’m pleased with how my iron has risen all in all I’m feeling relatively ok, as always any advice would be very much appreciated❤️

Hey there :

Well done on the ferritin - now the trick is to maintain it !

I can't comment on your results really as I do not take this treatment option, but will follow to widen my knowledge for another time :

Well you now need a maintenance dose - so depending on how much you took you should consider reducing -

alternatively you could stop supplemnting all together and try maintaining ferritin through eating iron rich foods

and some liver weekly -

making sure of course first that you have some stomach acid with which to help your body breakdown and digest the nutrients found in liver.

I’m going to continue taking one as I was taking two and see how I go🤞

Ok then : so monitor again in around 6 months and see how you go :

Obviously once your T3 / T4 levels improve and you have fewer symptoms of hypothyroidism you may find your digestion and absorption of nutrients easier.

I still need to take a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vineger with the ' mother ' in warm water everyday prior to my main meal containing protein.

Well seeing how much mine improved with a supplement I can only assume I have trouble absorbing it from food as I do eat a lot of eggs, fish, chicken, meat and I cook all my own meals🤷‍♀️I don’t do so well with vinegar,I used to take lemon in my hot water in the morning so I might try that again.

Was last dose T3 Approx 8-12 hours before test?

Yes sorry I forgot to say all protocols were followed.

Are you gluten free/dairy free

Is iron at least 4 hours away from levothyroxine and ideally T3 doses too

How do you feel

Which brand of T3 were you taking previously

Results suggest you have room to increase dose

No I’m not gluten free or dairy free,I’ve tried them before and never felt any benefits. I actually feel really ok,I’ve always took teva but as I was adding in an extra 5mg I decided to use some Morningside I had left over for the 10 mg dose in the morning,I might just switch back to all teva and see,I just find it strange that it’s gone down from last results with a 5mg increase.

I have been eating white bread where I usually eat brown do you think it could be something to do with that?

I take iron 4 hours away.

Gluten could be reducing absorption

I’ve always ate gluten though and every increase it’s increased.
