Updates on ovaries and floppy nose
For background, had ovarian cysts and enlarged ovary. Been having endometriosis type symptoms and pain as well. Saw Gyn last week. Started progestin only birth control - low dose norethindrone. I must say, it makes me feel a lot better. My sleep feels more restful and I feel like I have a little more

Feel so alone
Hi all, im 27 but when I was between the age of 14-17 I suffered badly with heavy periods to the point I missed alot of school due to constant flooding. I was referred to a gynaecologist but just got put on a contraception pill & basically sent back to my gp which one gp did suggest they think I may

Feel like a failure
Does anyone else find that infertility makes them feel like an utter failure? I just feel so sad today. I don’t know if it’s the start of my withdrawal bleed after being on norethisterone, that I’m 35 on Friday and I’ve been going through this for 3 long years. I just feel so stressed. I keep comparing

Stims
Hi everyone, just finished taking Norethisterone. I will start with Ovaleap from day 2 of my period, following on day 4 Meriofert and Cetrotide. I planned to take the injections evening times, just wonder if I should take them on a specific order, can be taken at same time!? Any thoughts are welcomed

3rd cycle
This will be our 3rd cycle. I have started taking the norethisterone tablets. They have increased my stimms on Gonal f this time to hopfully get more eggs. I got as far as transfer last time but it didn't result in pregnancy unfortunately. I feel pretty chilled at times and I'm trying not to think about

Ovarian cyst and FET
Hi everyone. I’m on a medicated FET. Took my norethisterone for 8 days then went for my baseline scan 3days after bleeding. A 2.6cm follicle or cyst was seen on my ovary and my endometrium was 5mm. I’m going for a re-scan on Monday. What are the chances of my FET going ahead? What are others experiences

norethisterone not working
Hi everyone, I got put on norethisterone earlier this month 3 times daily to slow me down since I've been suffering heavy bleeding since December last year but they just don't seem to work :(. I'm at the end of my tether with my periods & the agonising pain that comes with it -_-. I've been referred

HRT compounds and hair loss
The first hrt prescribed to me to treat hair loss, was norethisterone based. Unfortunately, it scarred my scalp. Norethisterone is an androgen based compound so if your scalp is sensitive to testosterone. It will not increase or cause your hair loss. So is helpful to know the compounds in hrt's available

Currently on CD 12 and taken my first lot of Letrozole as planned

Slow/failing downregulation? FET
So, after 23 days of downregulation on buseralin, I had my second baseline scan today. Apparently my uterus is facing a different way to usual and they are have trouble doing the ultrasounds. My lining is still too thick at around 10 mm, and there is also fluid visable. I've been prescribed 10 days

Endometrial hyperplasia...anovulatory cycles... ovaries too high...AMH 1.8...age 39.... Any words of hope?
Would be so grateful if anyone is able to offer thoughts...am hoping to start IVF but had a hysteroscopy and scan yesterday (not started any treatment yet) and was told could barely visualise ovaries as they were so high. Consultant said we might be able to try IVF but couldn’t guarantee he’d be able

Have you used Norethisterone with Prostap and HRT?
Hi! I've been bleeding everyday now since I started the injection on 10th Dec. Its usually more than spitting and my periods are 7 days apart. They were getting close together before Prostap but not as close as 7 days apart. I'm having a womb scan later this month to rule out issues there. I hope! However

Norethisterone LDR
Has anyone ever taken norethisterone after ovulation to try and collect two groups of follicles in a stim cycle? So right after you ovulate, start the norethisterone and then after 14 days stop, have a bleed, then start stim? so like a milder long down reg cycle with norethisterone instead of a GNRH.

Return of pain
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. So I had laparoscopy in November where I was diagnosed with endo. She ‘treated’ the endo with diathermy in my pelvis and on my cervix. I have to say, my daily pain has reduced but when I have a flare up or a period, I feel like the pain is worse than ever. I had

Cyst & Norethisterone
Hi everyone, so my cyst is producing hormones and this cycle has been delayed. So frustrating but it is what it is. The clinic have prescribed Norethisterone tablets from day 14 to help flush it out, then another scan on day 20 and hopefully start Buserelin on day 21. Does anyone have experience of

Any pill recommendations instead of Provera?
My daughter has suspected endo and has been admitted to hospital recently with the extreme pain. The doctor prescribed Microgynon but not long afterwards she had breakthrough bleeding despite taking the pill continually without a break. After 34 days of bleeding she was prescribed Norethisterone which
