Slow/failing downregulation? FET

So, after 23 days of downregulation on buseralin, I had my second baseline scan today.

Apparently my uterus is facing a different way to usual and they are have trouble doing the ultrasounds. My lining is still too thick at around 10 mm, and there is also fluid visable.

I've been prescribed 10 days of Norethisterone, and need to book in for another scan when i have bled, so about another 3 weeks.

Has anybody been through similar? Did the induced bleed work to bring down the lining?

Background - short protocol IVF in 2017 due to PCOS. 5 embroyos, son from Fresh transfer born nov 2017.

Aug 2019 - completely unmedicated FET, BFP, lost at 20 weeks following silent abruption at 16 weeks

August 2020 - similar situation with thickened lining after downreg. No thinning after northisterone and was referred for hysteroscopy. Nothing of note found.

Nov/december - Downreg worked first time, FET on 2nd December, BFN.

I'm 42, and only have two embroys left, so don't feel i have loads of time left.

Hi RuthG. Oh dear, but probably best to get rid of that lining, which may get rid of the fluid too. If. Not then you may need the fluid d aiming before proceeding. Good luck €! Diane
