Does HRT cause weight gain?

Did you gain any weight when you talk HRT? I'm very concerned about this as I've read several reviews of people saying that they did and I haven't eaten disorder so that kind of thing terrifies me.

Good I hope not because I've not weighed myself after being on it for almost a month but I'm really scared to continue on and I've been restricting even more since I've been on it because I've been so afraid of this side effect

I’ve been on it for several years without significant weight gain. Have recently lost 15 pounds in weight after joining zoe which has helped me eat much more healthy and has really improved my relationship with food with the added benefit of really improving my menopause symptoms.

No it doesn't-I was on HRT for over 30 years-very happily. Many women if the aren't taking HRT develop big breasts, which I did not want, and the HRT helped me to stay active, look good-my skin was great, and no one believed my age! If there are no indications that preclude you using it, go for it-you'll feel great! Even now, 78- having to stop cold turkey when I got a VERY early tiny Breast cancer in 2021 at 76, I look and feel much better than one of my sisters who is younger but who has never taken HRT. If I can go back on it in a few years time, I will.

... and the progesterone+estrogen combo helps protect against bone loss!

I restarted HRT today once I found a Dr up on the current science on it. Thank goodness! I'm about to go nuts with 10+ hot flashes all day and night sweats at night. Ugh!
