Tapering withdrawal
Morning all , I am currently tapering from 3mg to 2mg , my blood test inflammation ratings are normal , but I am having very sore muscle pain whilst tapering , I am assuming it may be withdrawal symptoms from prednisone as I have been on prednisone for over two years , but dr is thinking it may be

Hello, I’m new👋🏻 (my results)
Hi everyone, hoping for some help please. These results were done by medi checks last May so I’m aware I need to get new set done. TSH 2.79 (range 0.27-4.2) Free T3 4pmol/L (range 3.1-6.8) Free thyroxine 11.6 (range 12-22) I do not feel well this past few weeks, it’s like I crashed, truly exhausted

CHANGE OF BIOLOGIC TREATMENT
Hello, I have had Rheumatoid arthritis since my late 30s (77 now). I had several biologic treatments , some of which did not really control the RA well… The best biologic was Enbrel (Etanercept) weekly injections. It gave me my life back for 14 years until I had my second knee replacement operation

Zolodex and HRT
hi there, my diagnosis is very new and I’ve just had my first zolodex injection this afternoon. I was also given HRT patches containing oestrogen which I’ve put on. But I’m confused as the zolodex surely stoped oestrogen production so why have I been put on patches that give it back? Surely it will counteract

Help with test results
I am feeling a bit better, not so spaced out, no depression or dizziness. I stopped HRT in July. However, I do still get tired, have weight problems, have a swollen scalloped tongue, high cholesterol, goitre, tinnitus, joint stiffness. I am on 100mg Levothyroxine. I take B complex, B1, selenium

Started #Zoladex to treat uterine #Polyps & bleeding/spotting is not stopping!!!
Guys I’m really hoping you can help or offer insight. I started experiencing irregular bleeding after taking progesterone only birth control pills. I continued onto the next pack and I didn’t stop bleeding. Dr gave me Tranexamic Acid and it stopped it for a while and continued taking pill every day

spasms and twitches
I often get arm and leg spasms, but a few months ago, I had the strangest of "attacks". I can only describe it as "electric spasms"...everything twitches, I was not able to control my walking, my arm movements were uncontrollable and when I tried to talk, what came out were long stutters. I am not

Stopping progesterone and estrogen at 8 weeks
Hello, We are so pleased we got our BFP after a down regulated medicated FET and my partner is 5 weeks today. The clinic have given us enough Meds to last until 8 weeks pregnant and then said to stop. I feel this is very early for a down regulated FET so we're worried to stop them when the time comes

second valve replacement
I had an aortic root and valve replaced in 2017 (mechanical valve) after combination of poor valve function and swelling aorta. This problem was found during a transasophogeal echo in advance of an ablation to tackle bouts of disabling AF that were only ever resolved by electrocardioversion. In the last

total left hip replacement by Superpath method
I’ve needed left hip replacement since 2019, of course Covid hit and my expected wait time in my home City when I went back to see the osteo consultant last year was another is 4 years on the NHS. So I went on the search to see what else was available as I’m fortunate to be able to go privately for

I have wondered for a while whether men also lose hormones as they age and whether patches would be beneficial. I am a complete layman, so may be talking rubbish . I read on one post that Parkinsons can give people hot flushes, so this got me thinking. Have there been any studies please?
