9dpt FET implantation bleed???

hi,

I’m in my TWW post FET

9DPT today.

Currently on cyclogest 800mg and oestrogen 6mg daily

OTD Saturday 25th

Just been to the loo and there’s brown/pink discharge and same when I wipe.

is this AF coming through or implantation bleed? I feel like 9dpt is too late for an implantation bleed but I don’t want to think that it’s been unsuccessful 😭😭😭😭😭

Hi TTCIVF, I had this on my last cycle. On day 8 I started getting backache and day 9 spotted brown all day. Nothing on day 10. I broke and tested day in the evening of day 10 and got a faint positive which lasted a few days. It ended up as a chemical for me but I'm convinced what I had was some kind of late implantation bleeding, and I have read stories of frozen embryos implanting late. It is impossible to tell though what it means, and as you say could be your period too. All I can say is good luck - not long to wait now! xx

Thankyou for your reply.. just checked again and it’s darker red, starting to look more like a period.

This was first FET after 2 failed fresh IVF transfers.

Was very relaxed and positive and optimistic for this one but it seems it’s been unsuccessful. Just waiting to see what my clinic say. It’s hard to continue with medication when you’ve lost hope of success

Oh that's not good, sorry to hear that. Hope you are doing OK. I find the FETs much more relaxing but have not had any success... yet! I've had my period fully break through on a fresh cycle but nothing on FETs except that last cycle. It is hard but really important to keep up with medications. There are plenty of ladies on here who will tell horror stories of ending early and then testing positive and wondering if they made the wrong decision. It isn't long to go now before you know for sure. Thinking of you x

I have this today too. I am also 9dp5dt and been on some many forum posts. I’m completely 50-50 as to what it might mean and believe there’s still hope.

My period is so scant normally so it’s so hard to tell if it’s spotting or period. Mine hasn’t turned red yet but I’m waiting to see what happens tomorrow.

I had 2 days of crying 7+8dp - my mood suddenly dropped so low and now it’s back to normal. I feel like I’ve done my grieving whatever happens but the bleed has given me hope weirdly.

I had 1 fresh and 1 frozen transfer before this frozen one, both this year and I never ever bled whilst on progesterone.

My OTD isn’t till Tues (14dp5dt) so still a long wait.

it could mean either of those things or irration of the pessaries or a chemical in my experience , I’ve had them all and there’s no way to know except doing a wee test. At 10dpt you should have a good indication of which it is from an early response test if that’s helpful for you to check before test date. Good luck xx

I'm 9dp5dt too and had light pink spotting yesterday. I did a test though and it's positive, so hopefully yours is too! Could be to do with the pessaries. I know its probably before your official test date (my OTD is tomorrow). Maybe do an early response test! 🤞
