Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

Estrogen Patch ADT
My personal experience was that during the 6 months I was on estrogen patches, my testosterone was undetectable for the most part, it did bounce up to the low 20s a couple of times but I was experimenting with the dose. When I got the dose tuned in my testosterone was undetectable. Lupron reduces testosterone

kidney Pain
What’s others thought on Kidney Pain linked to Endo, It occurring more regularly now. I used to call it my side back pain, which I never had until I was put on HRT for PMDD, I never reacted well mentally to Oestrogen, but then I also learned the Oestrogen makes Endo grow, this was pre diagnosis. I believe

Flare up/ symptoms / need to induce period
So I’ve been on the increase of Armour for a week and a couple days. I went from 15 to 30. I take the 30mg at 6 am before any other supplements, go back to sleep. When I wake up, I take the rest of my supplements. Which is vitamin d, vata supplement from banyan botanicals (this is good for me, I’ve used

Hysterectomy and Hashimoto's
Hello everyone, I had a hysterectomy five weeks ago due to Adonomyosis, fibroids and the beginnings of a tumour on one of my ovaries (which partly explains why I've been feeling awful for so long!). I felt good initially, but I'm now exhausted and getting some of the same symptoms I had pre-op (sinus

Trigger shot for FET
Hi all, I just wanted to crowdsource something. I am currently attempting a "stimulated" FET where I take low dose gonal-F in the lead up to try and help my slow and thin lining develop with my own estrogen. It's going... okay but not great. During my scan today (CD 13), I have a bunch of follicles

Does Sigpharm Liothyronine still work?
Hi, I tried Sigma pharm liothyronine for a few months, it worked very well. Starting 1.5 months ago my hypothyroidism symptoms returned, I have absolutely no energy. I did a stupid thing in mid October, I took 3 estrogen pills ONLY (I am postmenopausal), totally contains 6mg of estradiol. I found

Period problems / how to balance hormones?
Female 31. So as I am in this lovely process of trying to optimize my thyroid, I have missed yet another period. (No there’s no way I’m pregnant because I’m celibate). When I got my hormones checked in oct, all of my hormones were low. Testosterone, progesterone, estrogen , all low. The “doctor” I saw

My cycle is still a mess
Hi everyone, just looking some reassurance I suppose. My first failed cycle ended mid October. Day 11 post transfer I started spotting and discharging some brown blood and that continued every day for about 3 weeks. I didn't get a proper period at all. It caused me a lot of stress as it felt like it

Estrogen meds
Hello guys and Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate today :)! I've been having OCD episodes since I was 21. Endo pain with mirena 12 months on
Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometriosis November 2020 with a laproscopy. The endometrial tissue was removed, and I was placed on the Mirena coil to reduce my estrogen production. The first 6 months of the mirena coil was not nice, the pain was so bad we worried it was leftover endometrial tissue

HRT patches and lymphoedema
I've recently been prescribed with oestrogen only HRT in the form of a patch. According to my FB HRT group the best place to apply the patch is below the waist on the buttocks/hip/abdomen/thigh. However, I have some mild swelling due to lymphoedema in these areas on one side and I know from scans that

Fluid/Fibroid in uterus
Hi All, I wrote not so long ago about the clinic finding fluid in my uterus after my first cycle of ivf. Due to this I wasn't allowed a fresh transfer (understandable) and it was a freeze all cycle with 2 embies. I have gone back for further scans. On 10 Nov I had a 3D scan which showed the fluid was

High uterine artery pressures
Hi Ladies, Wondering if you have gone through something similar. I am getting ready for an embryo transfer. As part of monitoring the lining, they checked my uterine artery pressures. It was higher than 3 on both sides. I was told this increased risk of preclampsia if I was to get pregnant. Their concern

Thoughts around meds
Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing well. I started my third cycle last Thursday taking meriofert in am and Bemfola in pm. I was doing oestrogen priming for about two weeks prior to that as I have low AMH and stage 4 endometriosis on the ovaries. Due to timing on the Thursday with scan and bloods I only

Day8 stims only 3 follicles
Hi I had my baseline scan which showed AFC 12… then my day 6 scan showed 8 follicles brewing and now day 8 scan only showed 3 and the test all the rest still small. Nurse said they may trigger early as don’t want to loose the 3. I’m 43.8 amh 14.7… doing low dose gonal-f due to oestrogen cancers in family

Stick with mirena or have it removed?
Hi I have a gynae appointment coming up and I’m not sure whether to ask for the mirena to be removed or give it more time… I’ve had it for nearly 9 months now and it’s changed my pain pattern rather than being around periods I am experiencing pain throughout the month, about 20 days a month of pain
