Overwhelmed & tearful
Hello everyone, just reaching out for support. September was a rollercoaster for me. On the 2nd I was called for a follow-up mammogram + ultrasound which picked up a small lesion in my right breast...a biopsy was done the same day, a week later the result was an invasive ductal cancer. Things moved

MRI CT accuracy results confused
Hi there. I’ve just come out the other side of one of the scariest couple of weeks of my life. I went to a private gynaecologist a few months ago who as well as thinking I probs had endo, wanted me to have an urgent mri scan because my oestrogen levels are very high indeed. I eventually had the scan

Update on recent consult with MSK docs , comments , suggestions welcome
In my recent consult with doctors at MSK in NY the doctors said they may still be able to “cure” my PCa . Endometrioma and FET? Help!
Hi all, I recently had a FET abandoned because of a 5cm endometrioma on my ovary, (never had one before) it started causing me pain when I started my estrogen (nothing major just dull aches). My nurse said to me I should wait to see if it goes with my period. My period never came and I was given norethisterone

HRT and absorbtion thyroid hormones
I found the section below on oestrogen and t4/t3 absorbtion on the TUK website. I have been taking HRT for 4 months for postmenopausal OA, have done usual blood tests and upped my t3 dose back towards optimal levels free t3, but still feel not right. The TUK piece suggests that tests might look like

Piercing Left Chest and Shoulder Pain: Is it Osteoarthritis or Bronchitis ?
Three months ago I was exposed to cold after losing a loved one. Then this burning sensation started in my left shoulder through the chest radiating to the arm muscles. X-rays revealed bronchitis, and cervical wear. I was on meds for a whole month with physio. I would feel a tender lump in my left

Perimenopause and worsening ADHD symptoms, anyone?
Any other Perimenopausal (I am 52) women who had managed their ADHD fine until this phase of life hit and now you are a trainwreck with worsening symptoms? There is research out there which points to Estrogen having a strong affect on ADHD, and that has been true for my life. My worst symptoms did

Hot flashes
It’s been eight months since my complete hysterectomy. My hot flashes and night sweats are terrible. Because of estrogen fed breast cancer and being on an estrogen blocker I’m wondering if I can get relief with anything? How long can I expect This to last?

PMS during 2WW after FET
What were you feeling during your 2WW? I feel like I'm experiencing PMS. Sore back, breasts getting bigger, cranky, etc. Although I'm not breaking out, which I normally do. I'm on progesterone and estrogen so I thought I wouldn't get PMS.

Potential epilepsy/undiagnosed
Hi all, just wondered if anybody here has experienced similar to me. I haven’t been diagnosed with epilepsy but I suspect I may have it. I’m a 23 year old female, and since 2017 I have been experiencing migraines with aura but I’ve never had a painful migraine after or if I do it’s less than an hour

Venlafaxine and menapause - any other users having success?
I’ve recently been prescribed V to help with the low moods and night time panic attacks caused by my oestrogen levels crashing. (I can’t take HRT due to migraine with aura). I’m only 6 days in but feel awful, terrible nausea, fatigue and brain fog. Will this pass? Atm I think I was better off before

Reaction to estrogen
Has anyone had a reaction to oral estrogen? My father has been taking HONVAN for past two weeks and he developed painful gynecomastia and skin rashes for past 3-4 days. Currently we have stopped the honvan tablet until we get next appointment with the MO.
