Almost fell: but compromised!
Last night. It was a Friday night! Always a good feeling day! Despite the extra chores. Knowing there is no work Saturday so you can stay up a little later if you wish. The kids had friends over to sleepover so they were up in their rooms. I completed all my exercise for the day and just had a happy

Calorie tracking
Hi, does anyone have any advice on how to safely count calories. I tracked for months before Christmas and became obsessive over what I ate, with some symptoms of anorexia. Now I have gained weight but I want to start counting calories again in a safe way.

Hi
Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to lose belly fat? I really enjoy gym/swimming but yet to see any real results. I do eat better now than what I did, however, does anyone have any ideas of things to completely avoid, or things that aided their weight loss? I have been reading

PCOS, anyone?
Hello! I'm an autistic dork in Europe hoping to learn more about a balanced lifestyle and sustainable nutrition. I suffer from PCO, thus, it has been quite impossible for me to sustain a normal weight. I attend my gym thrice a week and I'm rather fit, though I have some belly fat. I'm hoping to learn

Carnitas Recipe (slow cooker or pressure cooker)
Hi everyone! Here is the promised Carnitas post - This is a really great recipe as the meat can be used in tacos and then the significant amount of leftover meat can be added to all sorts of things such as burritos, taco soup, rice bowls, salads - the possibilities are endless! So I'll write up the

First week.
Well first week over, a loss of 5.5lb was a good shock this morning. I've had loads of congratulations and comments on the Sunday weigh in and I'm taking advice in board. Going for a 1lb to 2lb a week loss which I'm sure I can achieve but any more is a bonus, I'm definitely up on my water intake but

New Start
Another weight loss diet has started, every year I say this will be the year I am finally going to be normal (what ever normal is). Last year I had many starts and many stops. Having a busy life with constant work pressures I seek comfort in food, it's a way of destroying myself. I hope this year will

Fitness Addiction
I posted a while ago about a condition called orthorexia, which is an unhealthy obsession with diet & exercise. I came across this video and I thought it might be worth sharing: https://www.bbc.com/reel/video/p07ztmfk/is-instagram-fueling-a-fitness-addiction- I've recently been learning about the new

Fall Back - Binge Eating Relapse
So I had a bit of a fall back last night. I had a long day at work and my partner was in a really bad mood I couldn't do anything to help him and I just felt like crap and I ended up just having a bit of a flop of an evening. I had a massive dinner with loads of cheese, no veg or anything and then I

Oh Yeah.. SPROUT SOUP 😉
I know it's not everyones favourite but by gosh it's good and I love it. Embarrassingly easy 🤫 One onion - I used a red one. Bag of sprouts 500gms Spray of rapeseed oil. Vegetable stock cube - I used a knorr stock pot. Savory Engevita yeast flakes. Roughly chop and sauté onions, add Sprouts,

Newbie
Hey, so I’m quite new to forums in general - but think it’s time to try some extra support since I’ve been wanting and trying to lose weight for some time and been unsuccessful alone. I currently weigh 13stone 5pounds, and am considered obese which was a huge motivator for me to seriously try harder

330 CALORIES & LOWER - RECIPE CHALLENGE
Hi everyone, I am new here. Today is the first day of my weight loss plan. I have been weighing various ingredients and recording calories & fibre content to calculate weight loss suitability/adaptation of my favourite meals. I have also cobbled together/devised/copied various meals under 330 calories

Cauliflower in ginger sauce with roast parsnips, low carb vegan.
Hi everyone, Here's what I had for diner tonight, I'd already bought a local grown cauliflower and some parsnips when I noticed a reply with a member saying they were pre-diabetic and vegan so I thought I'd bake the cauliflower and parsnips and keep it plant based and low carb and it's also gluten free

Black lentil stew with gluten free ginger and onion dumplings.
Hi everyone, Well I'm still experimenting with my slow cooker and here's what I've cooking away now. I decided to make a stew and make some Christmas dumplings so decided that ginger was a popular Christmas spice. I made these with 50g self raising GF flour 25g ground almonds 1 tea spoon baking powder
