Hi everyone,
Well I'm still experimenting with my slow cooker and here's what I've cooking away now. I decided to make a stew and make some Christmas dumplings so decided that ginger was a popular Christmas spice.
I made these with 50g self raising GF flour 25g ground almonds 1 tea spoon baking powder chopped ginger softened onion chopped sage celery salt black pepper 1 large free range egg and whisked it up.
To add to the Christmas flavour I used brussel sprouts cauliflower broccoli peas carrots and a tin of black beluga lentils, I put small spoonfuls of dumpling mix and left to cook in my slow cooker, they've more than doubled in size and this what it's all looking like.
It smells nice so I'm looking forward to my dinner tonight. 😊
