Blood test results- hubby had private testing done!
We decided that he should have some basic tests done to see if there was anything that could account for aches/pains/tiredness/irritability etc. and we've got a few unusual results I was hoping someone could help us with! Here are his results from Thriva- for context, he has no diagnosed conditions.

Also, my latest labs showed lowish
estradiol
, progesterone and
testosterone
levels. I am on HRT (E + P) so this was kind of surprising.

HRT typical dosage
Hello, I just started HRT with 100mg progesterone ( UTROGESTAN) and 2 mg estradiol (ZUMENON). My period stopped 11 years ago and I am 58 now. I would like to know what is a typical HRT dosage. I am new to all this. Thank you very much.

Wellman Ultra Vit Blood Test
A quick question... My husband has purchased a Wellman Ultra Vit Blood Test from Medichecks, which tests liver health, diabetes and cholesterol , thyroid, testosterone and various vitamins for energy and wellbeing... And I'm wondering if it should be taken after fasting?! Medichecks website says it

My PSA has been .02 for the last year but my testosterone is climbing. Why?
My testosterone was less than 10 a year ago but it has steadily climbed up to 35. I have been on Lupron,, Zytiga and Pred for the last two years. I was thinking of a drug vacation because of my low PSA but the rising testosterone is worrying me. Any thoughts gentlemen?

Bleeding before FET
Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I’m currently in the middle of treatment for a FET. I had zoladex for down regulation and when I had my scan my lining was still at 8.8mm and it should have been around 5mm. My clinic did bloods and they said all was fine and I could start my Estradiol tablets . Zoladex

Side effects on Zumenon (estradiol)?
Hey lovelies. Hope you’re all doing as well as can be. I’m now 1 week into taking estradiol for my 2nd FET and getting headaches on a daily basis. Also, feeling quite down and teary too (although obviously super happy to be attempting a FET) Has anyone else experienced this?

Antihistamines and nose sprays
Earlier this year my GP prescribed a nasal steroid spray and then followed days of ectopic beats. A few days ago he prescribed an antihistamine tablet to deal with what I think is hay fever issues, including an irritated feeling in my breathing passages into my lungs, but no cough etc. That night my

Pre-Radiation Testosterone Levels & PCa Aggressiveness
New Canadian study below [1]. "... a Gleason score ≥8 was associated with a lower likelihood of having a normal (≥8 nmol/L) testosterone level (OR = 0.51 ..." Put another way, men with GS of 8-10 were more likely to have a T below 231 ng/gL. -Patrick [1] https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32628305/

Does "high" Testosterone predict more serious PCa?
New Italian study below [1]. Here is the conclusion: "[i][u]
Elevated

LOW sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) - what does it mean?
Can someone explain to me how SHBG works? And how it relates to prostate cancer? Pouring over my husband's charts & I see that Dr. Ahlering was closely monitoring this protein, but he never mentioned why - for example, sometimes the only other thing he would test in addition to testosterone was his SHBG

Hormone Imbalance?
Hey, so this definitely a sensitive one. I went to the doctor's recently and about a sore bump on my left nipple. It's pretty tender and it turns out it's just called a breast bump. Boys in puberty often get it. Thing is, I'm 19 so surely this is a bit late. The doctor didn't really answer any questions

Why is it not standard to give some estradiol in addition to lupron?
Is there any downside? estradiol would be good against hotflash and also for bones.
