Pregnenolone - things to look out for
I’ve just started using pregnenolone to address low testosterone and progesterone issues. Having just had one of my “moments” (sudden anxiety, shakes, cold, tiredness, racing heart), it’s spurred me into posting what I had forgotten to weeks ago! Is there anything I should look out for? Will it negatively

Might be PCOS?
Hi! I’ve been having irregular periods for most of this year, so I went to the doctor and had a blood test. My results came back normal except I had a slightly higher than normal level of testosterone - I then had an ultrasound (as the doctor wasn’t sure why my period wasn’t coming back), and they found

Falling PSA but rising Testosterone
My husband, Steve (Stevana on this site), has had his PSA and testosterone checked every 3 weeks during his chemo and immunotherapy treatments. Ever since he started on Firmagon his PSA has gone down and as of December 23rd it is .08. His testosterone has been undetectable (<3.0) for the past six months

Body changes after EBRT and Lupron
I had EBRT, 45 days, and Lupron, 18 months. When I was on Lupron, I had no sex drive and lost almost all my body hair south of my navel. When the hot flashes stopped as my testosterone came back, I was expecting my body hair to come back too. But that hasn't happened. I have very light hair on my legs

Night Sweats
Any of you guys experiencing worsening night sweats? This is definitely different to the Lupron/Eligard night sweats. I’ve been researching night sweats and prostate cancer but most of the stuff I am finding blames the low testosterone but this was never severe for me nor did they last beyond the first

DIM (dimdolylmethane)
Hi, I was taking Dim for many years before I came down with PCa, could that have been the reason I came down with prostate cancer? From what I understand, dim balances hormones and maximizes testosterone middlejoe

FDA has approved Relugolix (Orgovyx) for advanced PCa.
"The approval of the GnRH receptor antagonist is based on data from the phase 3 HERO study, which showed that 96.7% of patients randomized to relugolix maintained castration through 48 weeks, compared with 88.8% of patients receiving leuprolide (P <.001).1 The benefit with relugolix was sustained across

Ft4 now normal?
Hi everyone! My ft4 was 11.2 with TSH of .29 in the summer. Then TSH around .38 two months later I had 2 previous lowish results for ft4 and TSH in 2017. Now ft4 (for some unknown reason) has gone up to 16 (range 10-22) with TSH of .72. My question is: does this now look ok? I've been referred

Does Hormone Therapy for mPC Affect Immunity?
I would like to know if hormone therapy increases or decreases or has no effect on immunity. I have my wife's fears that since I have cancer I am among the most vulnerable4 to Covid 19. My doctor, however, advised me the opposite, that it does not, that hormone therapy, unlike chemotherapy does not
