Do I need added T3
Hi I took it upon myself in February to obtain bloods for food intolerances as my gut issues were worsening. I am already gluten free. I was becoming so confused with the many different Symptoms, apart from the obvious crippling stomach pain and trips to the toilet. I have a long list of intolerances

Hormones not recovering
Six months after my last (3 month dosage) Eligard injection, my PSA level is <0.008 which is great. Unfortunately my testosterone level is <0.4 nmol/L when normal is 8.4 - 28.8 nmol/L. Should I ask for testosterone injections or just be patient?

Positive Effects of HIIT Exercise program on BCR progression of PC
From the ASCO2021 programs. Good randomized trial of supervised intensive exercise for 12 weeks improves risks for BCR progression. I suspect this may be related to the effects of exercise, and especially HIIT to activate epigenetic pathways for protection of the genome and reducing mutations, a driver

Estraderm MX100 patches on IVF
I need help with Estraderm MX100 patches as my doctor told me to start them 200mcg every alternate day. I started on Monday with one patch but today, I have changed it I realised that on the packaging reads "absorption rate: approximately 100 micrograms of estradiol in 24 hours" so my concern is if I'm

Is this the end of weight-training? Ugh.
Hi guys. Well this is depressing isn't it. I've always had low GFR and high Creatinine, this is because I've always weight trained. In 2018 I was at: In 2018 it was - gfr60.4 In 2020 it was gfr63.3 In 2021 it was grf57. My Creatinine levels are around 120, constantly. My doctor does not seem overly

Update on (attempted) ADT via Estrogen Patch
Got my onc to go along with the PATCH protocol (of 4 x 0.1 estradiol patches, changed 2x weekly), and as it turns out things are not so simple. Yes, T dropped, but not yet to castrate levels. PSA did drop from 160 to 75 (while ALP doubled), but after a month T has gone from 500 down to only 187. Why?

One Step Up Two Steps Back - "Bruce Springsteen"
I'm 73 with Stage . Robotic, Lupron and Radiation on the checked list. I'm trying to stay "fit" but my former pleasant leisurely two mile stroll now feels like a 27 mile marathon where I hit the wall two minutes after leaving the house. My energy level non existent as my testosterone. The back pain

E2 skyrockets on BAT therapy
After about 3 months on BAT therapy and reading Friedman's book, I thought it might be a good idea to ask my onc to check my estradiol (E2) levels. He agreed. While the PSA continues to drop (roughly 10 to 5), I nearly s*** a gold brick when he casually mentioned my E2 was 170 (normal is about 20-40

Low Testosterone Could Be Bad News in COVID-19 — In small study, men with low levels were more likely to have severe illness - MedPage Today
One more study to complicate and confuse PCa patients as they deal with treatment options and their effects. And while this study makes no mention of PCa patients (and likely excluded them from the sudy group), it still points to a possible COVID risk issue for patient on ADT. It even stands in contrast

Why are cardiac effects different for GnRH agonists and antagonists?
I've always been troubled by the observation that GnRH agonists (like Lupron, Gosarelix, Zoladex, and Triptorelin) had a high risk of cardiotoxicity while GnRH antagonists (Firmagon and Orgovyx) did not. Why should they be different if they both lower testosterone? This RCT offers a good explanation.

Ibrance and hair ideas
Hi ladies, Hope you're feeling fine with brighter longer days coming. I've read several post about hair loss and hair thinning with Ibrance. I must say I loose a lot of hair every day and huge quantities when I wash it. I still have some hair but it really looks sad. I tie it back to forget about it

High-Dose Transdermal Estradiol as ADT
Tall_Allen: Most of what I've read on tE2 is on castrate resistant patients. How can that be? How does it work at all if they're castrate resistant, meaning that their PSA is rising despite castrate levels of T? Does it delay castrate resistance in castrate sensitive men? ADT author and patient

HRT that doesn't cause gallstones?
Hello, I am nearly 51 & appear to be 'post menopause'. I have just had my gallbladder removed & strongly feel that my HRT may have caused the stones. I had a scan in 2017 - no stones. Then I was prescribed 3 pumps of Estrogel + 100mg Ultrogestan +pea sized amount of Testosterone. I felt better, but then
