Combine standard care with alternative care
The University of Maryland reported two cases of terminated PCs by combining standard care treatment with an alternative treatment. By reducing the PSAs to less than 3, the clioquinol + zinc killed more cancer than testosterone could renew, therefore termination. My PSA in three months went from 58

Zytiga after failing nubeqa ?
Has anyone had any luck with Zytiga after nubeqa fails to hold down PSA? I have been mCRPC for a few years now and Im curious if there is any chance Zytiga would work after the combination of Orgovyx/Nubeqa failed. I had some good results years ago when I was still nmCRPC with Firmagon/Xtandi, but had

Hypothyroidism worse off with TRT
Hello, I've been on T3 20mcg and T4 75mcg daily for the past year, I started taking TRT (testosterone replacement therapy), initially I felt way better, but now I'm getting more tired and cold hands and feet than ever before. Is there any correlation between taking Testosterone while being hypothyroid

The importance of training your legs (if you can, of course)
Engaging in fitness activities is considered a standard of care (SOC) for many cancer patients, not only because it enhances overall health but also due to the chemical interactions between muscles and cancer cells. Comprehensive body training is essential, with an emphasis on targeting the body's largest

Bicalutamide
My Dad last week was diagnosed with 3 spots of cancer on his prostate. 3+4=7, 4+4=8, and a 4+3=7 spot. The thing I don’t understand is during the visit to the Urologist to discuss his biopsy results, the urologist prescribed 50mg of Bicalutamide to begin reducing his testosterone. I believe this is premature

Sex hormones
Does anyone know if 26.3 (16-124) is lower than ideal? My testosterone was bottom of range but now ok with HRT. I’m trying to get to the bottom of my low cortisol and whilst this is in range, wondered if it should ideally be higher like your thyroid? Many thanks

PSA declining?
My PSA was 5.18 in 11/22, 3.26 in January 2023, and 5.88 in March 2023. I had a biopsy in July 2023 which found cancer in 3 of 13 cores. On October 4, my PSA dropped to 1.5. I had another PSA test on 11/8 and it was 1.0. I stopped taking an IM testosterone shots in March 2023 and my testosterone

Low hemoglobin, and foot neuropathy common with ADT?
I was on Lupon for six months, three years ago and experienced feet going numb mostly at night and low hemoglobin. Those issues subsided once stopping Lupron for a few months. These symptoms became more acute during the last two years on Orgovyx with hemoglobin dropping to 9. ( I also had four

Vacation from Lupron/Zytiga - Temporary or Permanent!
I have been on ADT (Lupron/Zytiga) for 2.5 years. PSA and testosterone immeasurable currently. Looking to go on "vacation" from meds. History: Gleason 8/9 with a PSA of only 1.89 (on Finasteride). CT/Bone scan did not show any definite metastasis. PSMA PET showed "possible" metastasis in 4 spots

UCLA RO says that since it's been only 4 mo since stop of 4 ms RT & 4ms orgo and my T is 80 - more t than baseline (286) may trigger cancer
I thought that you could take TRT of 100 ml and you would be safe from reoccurrence.
Oncologist today at UCLA says he wants me to work with a specialist in TRT and he would only feel comfortable then giving his OK if ONLY if the testosterone specialist takes my testosterone back to ONLY my baseline

Thinking of taking an ADT vacation
Hi, just got my latest PSA result yesterday...it was 0.07 ug/l down from 0.14 ug/l one month ago. I'm almost at the 6 month mark of my ADT journey. Six months ago, my PSA was 14.9 ug/l. I'm thinking of taking a break from the ADT because of the side effects. Is it too risky? Would the PSA start

Ferritin and folate levels
I have pituitary failure and it's taken me almost 20years to get myself sorted. I take T3 in the form of Cytomel which is reluctantly prescribed by my local Endo but beyond that they are totally useless. I now see a specialist in Leicester who has got a better idea and I now have hydrocortisone, growth
