I've defeated my loss of levodopa benefit that happens after eating protein
To start with, an update, I am back on the MP, no Sinemet at least unless I hit another obstacle unforeseen. I hurt myself today eating some delicioooous bbq beef. It was soon after getting my dopamine right and I had been feeling pretty good actually. The beef protein began to rapidly bring me down

I've recently discovered that Tumeric is an iron chelator, for those of us who can't get their numbers up we must leave 4 hrs in between. Pretry difficult with all the suppliments.

I dont know where to go from here?
Im new on this site. I am 64. Ive had IBS since my teens. For many years I have combined my food - eating either only proteins together with other proteins or only carbs with only carbs accompanied by fresh veg every day. In the mornings up until 12 midday I have only eaten fruit combined with seeds

Things I have heard about treating BC
For what it's worth: At 70 and in treatment for BC since 2012, I have heard several people tell me a few things pertaining to treating BC. One cousin whose brother had it said Asparagus is good for it, and my cousin eats it 2 times a week. Another swears that Tumeric is excellent to help prevent further

CT3M
I know members here have used the CT3M method successfully, and I'd love to hear about your experiences. I managed to wean myself off Medrol (prescribed for adrenal fatigue in late 2011) about a year ago. HC never worked for me as it metabolised too quickly. I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue based

Home remedies?
Hi New Friends! Just want to run this past you. A friend of mine is a Herbal, home remedy Guru/fanatic. With that said he whipped up a batch of Tumeric, ginger root, onions and brown sugar and calls it a "lung cleanser". Advise that I have 2 tbs in the morning and 2 at night. Being that I have these

Tumeric and Aloe Vera Juice
Ive been told that tumeric helps along with aloe vera juice. Your thoughts on this would be welcome. Aloe vera juice I have taken for years and have found it good for digestion. But the tumeric capsules have not done anything. Maybe I should have some curries instead of the capsules.

Tumeric
As there has been alot of interest regards tumeric, and its healing properties, I thought I would share the tea recipe. My friend who has PSE liver disease, has started drinking it, to cleanse and heal her liver, and boost her immunity. She said she noticed a difference right away, and feels less lethargic

Dangers of pain medication. Doesn't help extreme pain in my experience.
Hi there. I've seen a lot of people getting upset about severe pain and not getting enough pain medication. I suffer from extreme and debilitating neuropathy. Mainly consisting of intense burning, stabbing and electric shock feelings in the hands, forearms and feet. I was on strong pain relief for far

Cant take Embrel anymore. Help.
Due to my cancer, my doc doesnt want to "stir anything up" by keeping me on Embrel. That drug was a miracle drug for me. All drugs seem to have some cancer risk but he'd rather not take the chance. Ive tried methotrexate, leflunimide, now Im taking something that is so mild (given to pregnant ra sufferers
