Thank you for sharing.... i use turmeric pickle every day...

also look for curcuma amada.... ambe haldi...a different variety of curcuma...

there is one thread in diabetes india on the same

I take turmeric milk daily at night before retiring for the day

I prepare it at home

Daily night

1/2 cup full fat milk

Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Add a pinch of pepper powder

Add 1/2 teaspoon ghee

Bring to boil

Have it hot

For bone and joint disorders

Controls cervical pain for me

yes it is very beneficial to control T/G.

However,there is some confusion here in India .

In childhood when we use to get some minor twists while playing,grand mother use to apply some ambe halad paste.

Now that ambe halad is different than curcuma amada(the one used for pickle)

The variety used for pickle smells like raw mango.

Would emphasise what has already been stated about the need to take turmeric in conjunction with black pepper - piperine. A very effective anti-inflammatory, and ,importantly, a safe on. Also good for the immune system and macro-nutrient metabolism.

For those without the time to make up your own recipes, supplements are now increasingly available containing turmeric some with curcumin extract and other complimentary ingredients:
