Of all the supplements, vitamins, minerals you've ever routinely taken, what most helped your thyroid, if any?
Hi All, I have been trying to increase my low minerals and blood readings - in my case, Vitamin D, Ferritin, and (I'm debating further intake of) Iodine….And thats all aside from supplements I've taken now for decades like: Krill Oil, Biotin, Magnesium, Tumeric, Zinc, Copper, Don Quai, Evening Primrose

Update at 5th week into self treatment...Things DID get worse before they got better...pains, acne and oh hello brain!
HI All, I am feeling weirdly positive and in what I assume to be an almost normal frame of mind mentally (hard to judge as I've had depression/anxiety my whole life) I want to share how I feel just over 1 month in and the positive and negative side effects of my B12 shots so far. A month ago before

Hi, I just found this forum and would be grateful for any advice! I am 26 and have had ongoing period problems for years, with doctors being pretty unhelpful. Sorry in advance for the long post, but here is the background to my issues... My mum took me to the doctor when I was about 13-14 (started periods

Is prednisone the only answer?
In a bit of a quandary...I have finally had blood tests done, ( CRP at 120, and ESR at 39) after years of being told by doctors and specialists that I had arthritis, and not much could be done apart from pain medication..Anti inflammatories, panadol, codeine and trammadol. Doctor is now diagnosing me

The best thing...
... I've seen that works for both migraines and cluster headaches without any side effects is the pure ginger extract called Migraine Escape. It's only available in Australia and New Zealand at the moment but it really is pure magic. Roll it on your forehead at the first signs of a migraine. You only

Lean PCOS
Hi everyone, as you can read by the title I am one of the fewer girls with lean PCOS. However I still suffer all the same symptoms. My worst battle is with hairloss and hirsutism. The hirsutism appears worse on my tummy and on my face although there are many other areas I have to keep on top of with

Bladderwrack and pine bark extract for endometriosis treatment?
I have read good things about bladderwrack (seaweed) and pine bark extract for endometriosis treatment - for pain and for apparently shorter menses. Has anybody tried either? I actually bought some bladderwrack, but then stumbled across information that the iodine in seaweed may affect the thyroid/thyroid

It was quite good day
My morning weighing showed pleasing number, just below 54kg (53.9kg). I know it is the same natural fluctuation that made me 'heavier' the day before, but it was very nice to see :) My meals could've been better, but they weren't so bad. Breakfast: half of bread roll with egg/mayo spread (leftovers)
