Could I try BAT to restore sensitivity to previously used antiandrogen treatments.
I failed Abiraterone and SOC doesn't allow the switch to Enzalutamide. I was reading on the use of BAT to resensitize mCRPC. Would this be a therapy that could work or is it too late now that I have failed. I know its not SOC but I am running out of choices and looking for some clarity. Its basically

Enzalutamide any advice/tips for dealing with side effects
Stage 4 PCA for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ). Abiraterone eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial. Completed 5 of 6 cycles of Radium 223, then elected to stop since scans

First recurrence
Hello everyone, In May 2022 I was diagnosed with high-grade serous carcinoma, Mullerian primary, Ovarian cancer. Had 6 chemo treatments and debulking surgery. 10 months after my last chemo, I am faced with a recurrence. Can you let me know what your treatment plan was after your first recurrence?

Diet plan consultation
Has anyone got any information about diet or supplements? There was a post about berberine and 5HTP along with other medicines. My sister who is 43 years old has GBM grade 4. It was diagnosed in April 2023. She also had her tumour removed and radiotherapy in May/ June. She has hardly no feeling on her

CHAMP Trial/Small Cell Chemo Update
If you don’t feel like reading my bio, I’ll give a synopsis: My dad is only 53 with advanced metastatic PC that spread to his liver earlier this year. His PSA had been undetectable so it really threw us for a loop. My dad finished 6 sessions of carbo & etoposide chemo about 3 weeks ago. He is still randomly

Has anyone been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer as well as prostate cancer? My husband is getting ready to have a bone marrow biopsy to see if that is what is going on. I have read that chemo and radiation can lead to bone cancers😖

Full circle with metastatic prostate cancer
I have gone full circle with my disease. Diagnosed at 52 in 2017 with PSA 100. 6 years later PSA is back to 100 with new spread of mets though out skeleton. I have done all the SOC treatments and changed diet. The cancer has found a way around it all. I have continued working through out but now I have

Kidney Biopsy
Kidney biopsy on Tuesday, today is Friday. Did not hurt except for a milli-second when the ten inch long needle punched through muscle tissue. Biopsy at Mayo clinic in Rochester. Just two weeks on Clonidine patch and vegetarian diet, and GFR is up to 36 from a low of 30, and creatinine is down

Stoma patient, mucus from anus
I’m seeing mucus from my anus, just this past week. I’ve had a bowel tumour that perforated in April 2023. I’m due my scan on 4th October. I have a stoma and no chemo ? I also have a hernia behind the stoma , awful pain from constant irritation on the skin surrounding the stoma? Some backache too?

Has anyone experience of weekly rather than 3 weekly chemo sessions?
I have been diagnosed with Stage 3C ovarian cancer, after finding a smallish lump in my tum in July, which is now considerably larger (20cm). A ct scan showed abnormalites in several places, and this was followed by a laparoscopy to see the extent. I was told that I would be having 3 rounds of chemo

Newly diagnosed seeking advice on surgical options
Hi, Recently diagnosed with S3 Ovarian Cancer and have been given a choice of primary debulking surgery followed by 6 rounds of chemo or interval debulking with the surgery in the middle of 6 rounds. Worried that PDS is more risky/ radical although I’ve been told that it wouldn’t be. Any advice/ experience

Feeling glum
Just been talking with doc who was very clear that my cancer isn’t operable due to size plus extra carcinoma at top of stomach. When questioned about the chances of a cure just from chemo radiation he said about 40%. Which my maths tells me that I have a60% chance that it can’t be cured and that my
