Hi Ladies, l hope you are as well as you can be! I haven't posted for some time as things have not been to great. After the chemo last July l had to have several blood transfusions and magnesium infusions. Well to cut a long story short l had to go for a bone marrow biopsy and the outcome of this was l have MDS which the MDT think has been caused by the amount of chemo l have had over the past 10 years for which l am very grateful Unfortunately they are unable to give me anymore chemo as this with excaberat the MDS and l could be looking at things turning into leukaemia. However l feel reasonably well at the moment and see the oncologist on the 24th October so hoping she can come up with a plan,l remain hopeful take care Pam x

Lovely to hear from you Pam. I am sorry to hear about MDS, as I understand it this is a failure of bone marrow? I hope you and your team can find a plan. I guess with more of us surviving 5-10 years it’s more of a thing being driven by exposure to chemo.
I hope you keep well and lead us into a second decade living successfully with the old beast..
xx
Sorry to hear you're faced with yet another complication, but hope your team can find something to help.
Hi. I’m really sorry to hear about the mds. However you must hav quite a life force to survive six rounds of chemo, so hopefully you’ll find a way through this as well. Sending positive thoughts. Xx
Hello Pam Really sorry to hear your news. You must be one strong lady. Hopefully, there will be a good plan going forward on the 24th so you can go on being strong and positive. Will be thinking of you. BB.
So very sorry to hear I hope they have something that will help!
