Sending a big hug Cazy1010! I start tomorrow on my latest chemo and I am sure I will be moaning for England by the end! Just a little bit further to go and you will start to feel better xx

Change is always unsettling, even when it’s a progression we’ve looked forward to. I was always convinced that something was going to go wrong with each hospital visit. You’ll start to feel better soon, I’m sure and this worrying time will recede a little bit more each week. Can you plan a treat to celebrate your last chemo session, maybe going out for a hugely indulgent cake and a lovely coffee (if you feel like eating such things!). Let us know how you get on xx

Hi Caz1010, I am sorry you are feeling so low, but you have to remember when you started your first chemo infusion your body hadn't just been through the mill with 6 infusions & unfortunately the further you get through chemo, it takes a toil on your body & you are weaker so everything feels harder, but as the weeks go by after your last infusion you will definitely feel stronger. Just take it easy for now & keep telling yourself you are nearly there. Maybe book a weekend away, nothing too strenuous, but something to look forward to, reward yourself for what you have just been through. I came across this quote which really helps me when I am feeling a little down so I hope it helps you & the other ladies too. " Sometimes the strength within isn't a big fiery flame for all to see. Sometimes It's just a tiny spark that whispers ever so softly" KEEP GOING, YOU GOT THIS.!!!! Xx

Thank you so much for your reply xx I’ve got this !!!!!

Bless your heart. Going through all of what you’ve been through takes its toll both physically & mentally.

Be kind to yourself. You’re allowed to feel however you feel. It can be tougher at times. Try to take one day at a time. Chemo is cumulative so does feel harder the more cycles you’ve had. Once you’ve had your last cycle & start to feel a bit better, your body & mind can start recovering properly. You will start feeling stronger but please be patient.

Sending you healing hugs xx

I can’t add to what’s already been said except to say I remember feeling like you do. It’s horrible. The chemo is so hard on your body and your mind. But you’re just about done with it and can focus on healing. Once you’ve had the last treatment and feel a bit better, start giving yourself treats! Xx
