IFAB negative - should I pursue diagnosis?
I also use inhalers for asthma and I have an
epipen
for severe seafood allergy. I don't know if this is all relevant but I am sick of having to take so many pills etc.

Potential Prograf Shortage?
The article comments specifically on
Epipen
, but also "specific treatments for a host of serious conditions". This concerns me as having had a liver transplant I am dependent on Prograf.

Help with drug choice please - rituximab or methotrexate?
Although I’m quite excited that the rituximab could make a massive difference I’m also a bit worried I could have a bad reaction (I react to so many things since lupus and have an
epipen
now). Any experience/ advice appreciated please!

Anaphylaxis to local anaesthetic
Two questions: Would an
epipen
be advisable? I was advised that the effect is cumulative - and may have effect on my immune system. I have since developed post nasal drip / cough reflex which nothing seems to be able to prevent.

GP tomorrow and very confused
I have a home nebuliser, relvar ellipta salbutamol fexofenadine zafirlukast omeprazole and ranetidine and
epipen
. In the last few years I've been pretty much constantly off and on prednisolone. My own GP wanted me to try steroid injection to get better control and avoid the tablets.

Epipen
Can anyone reassure me about what happens when you use
epipen
, at the hospital. Do I really have to phone 999. Or is it ok to stay at home and speak to GP in the morning? Sorry for asking silly questions xxx

EpiPen Recall
You've no doubt heard about the
EpiPen
and
EpiPen
Jr. recall announced last week. Here's a simple 4-step process to get a new
EpiPen
if it's included in the recall: 1) Check the lot number on your carton or device to confirm if your
EpiPen
is affected by the recall.

Any replacement for banana??
I carry an
epipen
as I have other food allergies but haven't taken it yet. I took an antihistamine and went to bed for a couple of hours. Thank god it is kind of starting to pass. Still have the option to go to the local hospital if it starts again.

Expired Medicines - What to Check Before Throwing Them Away?
Biologic products like
EpiPen
, eye drops or injectable substances should not be used, if they are cloudy. In fact, most of these should be kept for a very short period after opening.

Histamine Intolerance
I carry anti histamine tablets and an
epipen
for security. This is a fairly new medical discovery. Check it out it may make a huge differance.

I take antihistamine and have an
epipen
. I take a nebuliser with me when I go away. Every time I go away from home my asthma really plays up and I wondered if anyone has any tips on how to stop this happening.

NHS nut allergy- self diagnosis?
My 13 year old daughter is scared stiff by the thought of this, even though we'll have an
Epipen
to hand, and I'm not keen on it either. Has anyone else had this advice? Is this standard NHS policy now? Thanks

I have an
Epipen
and had my Grandson run for it, by the time he got it back to me , I had ripped off the patch. Within a couple of minutes, Without the
Epipen
, the itching stopped and I could breathe again. My face was red and I felt weak and not quite myself.

Lupus and allergies
Doctors given me an
epipen
and I have used it 5 times since 2012. Is it anaphylaxis? I don't know, still in endless doctors appointments. My airways close up saturday and yesterday. I am off work today and trying not to worry about it. I seen the doctor again and she prescribed me fexofenadine.
