Anyway they had a big discussion on whether I should carry an epipen and have decided that although the risk is low it is not zero so I have to get them. I’ll get them next week and wondered what life changes people have had to make having these and do they affect holiday insurance and flying?

Hi I just injected my Benepali into my tummy. I usually make sure the bubble is at the top of the own before Inject, never been told to but I just do it always. I forgot to check where the bubble was and injected...now I'm PANICKING! PLEASE someone tell me it's ok or not ok as the case maybe. Do I need

I had 75ml left in one epipen so took this and then stupidly set the second pen to 375ml, not realising until too late. I’m due for another scan tomorrow to see whether I’m ready for my trigger shot and am terrified I have messed this up. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Thanks xx

After checking Margaret’s observations we went home with an epipen in the glove box just in case of a delayed reaction.

I was prescribed an epipen in case it happens again. The last thing I want to do is have to give her back…but with being allergic to her…if I contact the rescue and say I have to return her (they made me sign a contract that I wouldn’t give her to a third party), they are going to be so angry.

EpiPen - Serious Nut Allergy Good afternoon, My daughter got tested today at Preston Hospital, she tested positive for all types of nuts and was told she has Serious Nut Allergy which is Life Threatening without the Use of an Injectable EpiPen. My daughter was given one today at Hospital.

Instructions are included inside the pack, along with details of the manufacturer’s website that also provides information, including videos, on how to use a new EpiPen or Jext adrenaline pen.

Is it an EpiPen n if so could anyone post a pic of their pen please? Being on 17.5 means I have seven tablets n when it increases its just more tablets to swallow so I am keen to give it a go. Rheumy said that it will help my uptake of the drug too. Thank you for reading.

Quick witted infusion nurse jabbed me with EpiPen, which brought me back to life. I was interested in what EpiPen was, so searched internet. Search came back, "access denied, adult content". Who would have guessed that EpiPen was adult content?

I can't chance Brazil nuts as my Daughter is allergic to them ( has EpiPen for this). Was also told in full menopause but trialing just thyroid meds first to see if helps symptoms as reluctant to give her as I had a stroke in my 30's - I'm 49 now. I do not take any blood thinning meds.

I was simply told to carry an epipen and not to drink that drink again! Since that has been the same old-same old pretty much.

Have to carry epipen following issue with heart meds 15 years ago. Now can't tolerate flecainide and some other drugs. Had managed AF symptoms since then with diet and lifestyle/ no meds for about 14 years, but thats not cutting it any more sadly... I think since COVID.

Someone on the Vasculitis forum is encountering difficulty - is expected to attend the hospital to be handed her self-injection medication because they claim there isn't a protocol for disposing of the needle.

They did prescribe me an EpiPen, which is good, but I feel so let down. (I have no plans to get an mRNA vaccine at this point, and the J&J is out in my area, so that won't be happening any time soon.)
