Thyroiditis causing possible hyperthyroidism symptoms.
Just wondering if Hashimotos thyroiditis can cause transient thyrotoxicosis or become hyperthyroidism. Have just been at doctors, my heart rate is high, feeling nervous and have shaking of hands on and off. Also get pain in neck which travels up to my jaw and ear. Stopped taking propranolol a few weeks

Ashermans syndrome, endometrium 2.5mm, poor responder, trying ICSI one last time for surrogacy
Hi everyone, I’ve started a short protocol this week 450 Ovaleap to combine with Menopur from day 8 to try and get a blastocyst to freeze for potential surrogacy After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange

Struggling with emotion
I recently had a test for unrelated problem that was clear, abdominal pain starting 3am. Left with no solution. I'm starting to doubt everything, I have constant angina, my gp doesn't know why considering the meds I'm on, Metroprolol 75mg ×2, Ikorel 20mg×2, Ticagrelor 90mg×2, Colchicine 500mcg, Ivabradine

Aspirin with FET
Guys I’ve been advised to take aspirin and fragmin this time round but have been told to start them with a BFP. I had transfer on Saturday and the more I read the more I’m confused about why I wasn’t advised to start them at transfer 🤔 Anyone else told to start with bfp and still get a positive?

Little blood spots
Can anyone shed a light on those little “blood spots” on the inside of my arm. What can they be? Why do I keep getting those? They just appear overnight. I’m on aspirin only at the moment. Platelets level going up again but treatment to re start soon. Decision time for me, as to witch treatment.. Thank

2ww double transfer yesterday
Hey guys, so after having my first scratch we had our third natural FET yesterday this time transferring two blastocysts. They transferred an A and a C grade because they were both 5 day blastocysts, I have another C but that’s a day 6 so they said they prefer to put the same days back in! Both thawed

Restless legs
Hi warriors! I’m in the dreaded 2WW… 4th transfer 🤞 I’ve had bad restless legs for the last couple of days, my legs feel really heavy like I’ve run a marathon and very tensed up (makes for very little sleep!). Haven’t had this with any of my other transfers but also on a lot more meds this time (progynova

Is it essential to get a bone marrow biopsy?
I'm newly diagnosed with ET JAK2+, 600-700 platelet count, taking aspirin. Getting my head around it all. Is there an urgency to get biopsy or see how I am in the next few months then decide. Doctor says no urgency but if I want to now then can arrange. I'm just not sure.

COVID vaccines offer the pharma industry an opportunity to reset its reputation. But it’s after decades of big profits and scandals.
Just weeks before the first COVID-19 cases emerged, Gallup published its latest poll on America’s views about business. At the bottom of the list of 25 sectors was the pharmaceutical industry. Below advertising. Below oil and gas. Below the banks. The pandemic and the new vaccines have of course turned

ET and Autoimmune disease
Hello! I was diagnosed with ET a month ago following a BMB though it turns out I’ve had highish platelets since 2007. In 2005 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease and 2017 I was diagnosed with Autoimmune gastritis. I asked my haematologist if this is all related and while she said there was no direct

I had Open Heart Surgery twice in April 2019 to repair a Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm. Was in a months in total. After surgery I was in a month with infections and various bouts of AFIB. I was initially on Amiodarone. 3 weeks later I had other bouts of Afib brought on by Pneumonia and Sepsis.

Tattoos while taking aspirin.
Hi, I’m thinking of adding to my tattoo collection that I had previously before my HA. My question is, I’m on a blood thinner of 75mg of aspirin daily, Will I be able to go ahead? The tattooist is very reputable one known him for years, so all good there. Anyone had experience of large tattoos while

Question about MBC being incurable w/o drugs or medical interference?
Someone posted this article this am which I thought looked promising for MBC https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/drug-rapidly-shrinks-metastatic-breast-cancers-in-mice However I’m just wondering if anyone has anecdotal opinions on this, since according to the article and what I’ve always been told
