Who has had Covid?
Hello all! Was curious how many of us MPN-ers have had Covid? I saw some older posts like this, but with this variant thought I’d ask again. Hopefully everyone has done alright if they did. I’m 38 and ET is my only health issues - platelets around 1.2 million, triple negative, on aspirin only as considered

ET - Pregnancy
I’m new to forum. Diagnosed in 2017 with ET, JAK2+. Baby aspirin. Recently had my check 6 month review and all ok. My platelets are stable at ~850. We’re trying for another baby, which is a rollercoaster in itself. I don’t know anyone’s pregnancy that was quite so complicated as mine. Seems quite daunting

Aspirin to increase follicles
Just wondering if anyone has tried taking low dose aspirin while stimulating for IVF in the hope of getting more follicles? I have read that apparently the increased blood flow could potentially help more follicles to grow? But I have seen information for and against this Thanks

Aspirin targets key protein in neurodegenerative diseases - updates?
https://parkinsonsnewstoday.com/2015/12/02/aspirin-targets-key-protein-in-neurodegenerative-diseases/ This is from 2015. I have not found anything recent. I wonder if trialing aspirin is of interest to Cure Parkinson’s Trust? Is anyone taking baby aspirin for neuro-protection? I believe it is terrible

Antibody test
Hi, all. So my partner is going for an antibody test today to see if he still has immunity from the vaccine. I’ve tried to google to find out how reliable these tests are. We were supposed to go to New York in a few weeks for the birth of his 5th grandchild, but he just canceled the trip because we are

Jak question in regard to covid vaccine
A couple of months ago, I was diagnosed with Jak 2 V6175 as an interpretation from extensive blood work. My treatment is aspirin. I am concerned with navigating covid, and my holistic doctor doesn't think I should take the vaccine. Wondering if others with this condition have taken the vaccine and

MPN-U
Hi everyone I am a 72 year old female and a new member. I was diagnosed one year ago with ET by my hematologist , but after consulting with an MPN specialist my diagnosis was changed to PV. Now it seems I don't fit exactly into that category so I am MPN-U (unclassified). I've been on Hydroxyurea 500

Wheezing/breathless post stent
First time posting :) I’m a 50 year old nurse with a recent stent placement in June. Probably similar story to many - had no idea I was experiencing angina. Thought I was unfit and breathless due to covid lockdown lack of exercise. Long story short, had a positive stress test, started rosuvastatin, aspirin

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Thyroiditis causing possible hyperthyroidism symptoms.
Just wondering if Hashimotos thyroiditis can cause transient thyrotoxicosis or become hyperthyroidism. Have just been at doctors, my heart rate is high, feeling nervous and have shaking of hands on and off. Also get pain in neck which travels up to my jaw and ear. Stopped taking propranolol a few weeks
