Ibuprofen

Looking for some advise/help.

Spoke to a gp at the practice this morning about my Costochronditis and he said to use Deepheat as I can’t take Ibuprofen. Now I have looked at the can of it I have and it says not to use if you have an allergy to Ibuprofen and aspirin which I have. Can anybody advise or maybe think of an alternative I could use please.

Try your pharmacist- they usually know more about medications and their side effects than doctors. He or she might have something over the counter or could write to your practice with suggestions.
