Metformin and Gestational Diabetes
Hi all! Prior to my pregnancy I'd been taking Metformin to help my PCOS for a couple of years, but stopped when I fell pregnant as the packaging said not to use when pregnant. My Midwife didn't tell me I could use it, so I didn't and now I have gestational diabetes! I have a good diet anyway - no sugar

Could my Mum be B12 deficient?
Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate help on how to get my mum's GP to give her B12 injections. My mother has had MS for over 40 years now. She has also been type II diabetic and taken metformin for over 10 years at least. Recently she went into hospital and was taken off metformin. The situation is complicated

I am thinking about taking taking my daughter to see Dr Annice Mukherjee in Manchester, we saw an endo in harrogate who didn't think it was worth testing her T3- He thinks she has PCOS and is treating with Metformin. But she has a LOT of other symptoms that im not sure are linked to the PCOS, extreme

When does the fatigue end
m in the process of reducing my daily dose of pred from 40mg to 5mg. I am now down to 9.5mg and the brain fog and depression have now gone - thank goodness. However the chronic fatigue hasn't and I am becoming very fed up with having to have a sleep every day and being unable to walk for more than thirty

Well it's Official Steroid induced diabetes has got me.
Thought I was doing great loosing weight on the blood sugar diet, but no every day my sugars would rocket and I felt dreadful, so I agreed to treatment, but got put on Metformin which is not recommended or even suggested for SIDM. I made the decision to split my dose of Prednisolone and that seems to
