No other tests done, despite a long list of of chronic health problems that fit a thyroid diagnosis.Have been told its more likely to be PCOS, symptoms inc; Extreme fatigue { sleeping 4 hours every afternoon } severe memory loss, severe chronic constipation, sugar dips,shakes, no libido,bloating,anxiety,palpitations,sweating. I have been prescribed Metformin. Should i pursue the thyroid route still? Would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Hidden Yes, you really need a full thyroid panel to include FT3 and TG Antibodies but you may not get them done by your GP.
Your best bet is to donate private test with Blue Horizon or Medichecks. If you get Blue Horizon Thyroid plus Eleven or Medichecks Thyroid Check Ultravit then the following are included
TSH
FT4
FT3
TPO antibodies
TG antibodies
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
Low nutrient levels can cause hypo like symptoms so it's a good idea to include those.
