ectopics and anxiety
I've also had an
echocardiogram
and examinations for things like POTS. After all this all that we have found is I have a mild inappropriate sinus tachycardia and symptomatic ventricular ectopics.

Normality after Pacemaker fitted.
I have since had tests,
Echocardiogram
, Ultrasound and also CT which show negative results, I was told the CT was better than a Stress test?? Now they are saying that it's because of my abdominal problems, which have never ever bothered me throughout my working life.

ectopic heart beats
I have been waiting for an
echocardiogram
for 6 weeks and I am now trying to organise getting it done privately. I wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem and how they got it resolved. Thank you

Heart issues with GCA
I am writing this to inform all who have GCA to demand your heart be tested, really tested with an
echocardiogram
once a year. GCA can attack your Aorta. Also, do not take a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) if you have GCA. Use an H2 blocker instead.

Ablation done
Glad that’s over it seemed to go ok until I was coming round I don’t think GA agrees with me as started to feel Unwell so was put on a drip then they weren’t sure if I had a bleed so wouldn’t give me any fluid until the doctor had seen my
echocardiogram
but was told it was fine was eventually took to

Warning, not totally AF related.
A procedure could be anything from an ablation to an
echocardiogram
I guess with lots in between. No further comment needed.

Confused
He then referred me to a surgeon at Liverpool heart and chest hospital who has looked at the
echocardiogram
and the MRI scans and has said he may be able to repair my Aorta Valve, I am now awaiting a TEE ? 🤫. Has anyone been in this situation?

Sudden Cardiac Death in elderly
If you have a low burden, say 5%, of ectopics, a normal
echocardiogram
and low cholesterol, good blood pressure, good diet, weight, no diabetes or heart disease, not on medication for anything, can you still die of cardiac death without warning?

Interatrial Septal Aneurysm (ASA) - anyone with knowledge or experience of this condition or relevant recent research?
I am 75, with 2 years of paroxysmal AF, and looking again at my first
Echocardiogram
I had in May 2022, I notice there was a finding of an "interatrial septal aneurysm". This finding was mentioned almost in passing, without further emphasis or mention in the Report's Conclusions.

Feeling down. Not sure what's wrong 😕
He's agreed to an
echocardiogram
and a treadmill test in a couple of weeks but still I feel a bit dismissed as a mental case.

Somewhat in limbo
Since that post, the
echocardiogram
ordered by my GP was conducted. The cardiologist who conducted it said that my heart was basically normal on all things he looked at. All parts of the heart are normal; flow is normal; no sign of enlarged atrium; no sign of athlete’s heart.

Taking 2 water tablets
I recently had my annual
echocardiogram
and it’s showing that my ejection fraction has decreased . The cardiologist has now prescribed Dapagliflozin 10 mg as well as the Spironolactone . I’m concerned as they are both diuretics and I’m already in the toilet day and night.

back in September I had an
echocardiogram
and was advised that I had aortic stenosis, still waiting for an appointment with the rapid response cardiology team.

Persistent debilitating AF
Since then my wife has come out of AF after three and a half weeks and has had an
echocardiogram
which was amazingly comprehensive. She is due to see a cardiologist in two weeks to find out what has been discovered so fingers crossed.

Anxiety/depersonalization triggered by L-Glutamine?
I will have an
echocardiogram
done tomorrow and they’ll put me a heart monitor for 24 hours. However, I’m not sure hb pressure/heart disease is the cause of all these mental symptoms. My questions: Are there any similar experiences? What medical specialists can help with this?
