I decided to have a private
echocardiogram
instead of waiting for the NHS one to come through. The report has been sent to my cardiologist and my doctor. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to contact you after receiving results?

A Hospital admission and another failed attempt at a CT Angiogram 😥
I will be booked for an
Echocardiogram
, Stress Test and referral to Electrophysiology. However, the Cardiac Nurse said he didn't think I had too much to worry about from CAD. Having looked at my test from over the years he feels I am very low risk.

Echocardiogram Advice Please
Today I had my
echocardiogram
having waited 10 months for it. Following the scan I asked the person that did the scan if there was anything to worry about and was told there wasn't.

Propranalol or Bisoprolol
I will be having an
echocardiogram
scan in due course. In A&E the doctor told me to continue with my BP meds of Indapamide 2.5mg and Propranolol.

A trial and some tribulations
After final screening on February 14 (Valentine's Day!), a week later, I started the NCT05536349 trial , "Time-limited Triplet Combination of Pirtobrutinib, Venetoclax, and Obinutuzumab for Patients With Treatment-naïve Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) or Richter Transformation (RT)" at M.D. Anderson

Was It A Heart Attack?
I had an
echocardiogram
in June over two years late and it has taken them over four months to write to my GP. EF is 65% but there is thickening and scarring on the basal segment. Do you think it means one of my bad angina attacks was actually a heart attack? 🤔

Dental Implants after AVR
I have just been signed off by my Cardiologist following an
echocardiogram
as she is happy with the results. My question is has anyone else had Dental Implant Surgery following having AVR? Obviously there is a risk of infection to the bi-prosthesis valve from endocarditis .

AF and now coronary artery disease at 47. I recently had a CT angiogram and the results aren’t great. Back to being scared and worried.
I had good news from my
echocardiogram
as I had no damage at all. The last hurdle was a CT angiogram sadly I’ve not made it so well past this hurdle. I’m absolutely gutted to be honest. From my report.  The scan demonstrated moderate burden of the coronary artery atheroma.

Oh and I had an
echocardiogram
in October and my heart is normal it has relieved a lot of anxiety, for which I am very grateful. 😊Feeling very alone on this journey and this group gives me some balance. Thank you!

Walking in rhythm
After 2 week monitoring and various ECG and an
Echocardiogram
I saw an EP in July 2019 and as my episodes were far and few between we decided I didn't need any meds as it was 'lone PAF'. 24 hour monitor for BP showed average 118/70.

Heart Attack and Insurance
Usually I have PAF which when I have an episode doesn't last for not longer than 4 hours max. Two weeks ago I had an AF and Tachycardic episode lasting from Sunday morning through to Wednesday, I carried on throughout, which in hind sight I should not have done. On Wednesday morning I had a Type 2 Heat

New shooting pain in left breast
I had an
echocardiogram
and was checked by cardiologist in July at the request of my Rheumy and nothing was found. Obviously I decided to "google it" as I love frightening myself 🙄 but the most obvious thing for me appears to be muscoskelatal which is mentioned but I have no idea why.

Am now waiting for a cat scan and another
echocardiogram
. The nurse rang me at home to say she had discussed me with the cardiologist who advised me to take my tablets at different times and to record blood pressure readings for the next week.

weird breathing heart sensation
I’ve had a 24 monitor which showed nothing I’ve had an
echocardiogram
which was unremarkable. Currently trying Diltiazem and it’s yet to lower my bp but sure am having some crazy side effects.
