Thanks to all who responded to my recent post. Since then my wife has come out of AF after three and a half weeks and has had an echocardiogram which was amazingly comprehensive. She is due to see a cardiologist in two weeks to find out what has been discovered so fingers crossed. I watched the screen and the operator looked at all areas of the heart so I am hoping that there will be sufficient information to enable the cardiologist to decide on how to deal with this debilitating condition.

I wish you and your wife well.
wishing her the best of luck with a treatment path that helps her
Tests such as an echo or a stress MRI are key in the diagnosis of AF so, yes, things are definitely moving in the right direction. It's a worrying condition with anxiety often playing a large part in the overall effects of it. Best wishes!
