hi everyone have finally got my steroid injection after 9 weeks. Then this morning hospital called me and said they have an echocardiogram app. on the same day. The echocardiogram is at 8.00am and then my steroid injection is at 1.30pm. Will it be ok to have them both done on the same day. Thanks

steroid injection and echocardiogram booked for the same day
As you are having the echocardiogram before the injection it won’t affect the results of the echocardiogram which would be the only concern I could think of.
Seems reasonable and practical to have both on the same day given your echo is first. Not sure that the steroid injection could compromise your echo in some way or other but given the steroid injection is later in the day it doesnt sound like you will be compromised in some way.
If you are concerned why not ring the hospital to check it out for their advice just to be certain. Good luck with both and hope you get good outcomes.
Sounds perfect to me . The echo is a non event so no stress there. Just feels cold and messy with all that goo but they give you paper towels to clean up with.
that should be just fine - but isn't it typical like waiting for a bus - you wait for ages and then two come at once!
I see n problem at all. The echo is first so the injection won't have any effect on it. It's only like an ultra sound and is very simple. I would certainly have both.
