Echocardiogram
Today I've received a letter for appointment at hospital to go for
echocardiogram
(another doctor from my surgery has requested this). Now I'm panicking, thought that because all other results have been of no concern that I'm okay. Are they just being extra careful that they haven't missed anything?

Travel Claim with Staysure
The reason given was "on the
echocardiogram
report there was no mention of the BP reading." I now have an enlarged left ventricle with low ejection fraction. I did not have my BP taken!

Had an
echocardiogram
on Friday and they estimated my EF is now 45-49. That is an improvement of 20 and moves me significantly above technical heart failure. Also it appears that the blood clot that keeps playing hide and seek has dissolved away. Hopefully that will help with my depression too!

ECG showing abnormalities
I’ve been having intermittent twinges/zaps in left chest area but only when sitting not when excercising of any kind.I am having an
echocardiogram
shortly and if abnormal then a consultation with a cardiologist. My HA was in Oct ‘22 and my EF was 55% so hopefully I might be ok.

Myocarditis
Bloods (Troponin levels at 1275), ECG,
Echocardiogram
, Angiogram and Cardiac MRI confirmed Myocarditis. Lots of support and information when they thought it was an MI but then discharged from cardiac nurse support after Myocarditis diagnosis with no support or information ???

Another update - heart rate monitor & echocardiogram
As we have gone private, she said we wouldn’t be charged for the
echocardiogram
as it was an error on their side. Don’t know what the total cost will be, but will keep an eye to make sure we’re not charged for the heart scan.

Electric shock treatment
Recently had
echocardiogram
and the technician thought everything looked fine. Now had letter saying I would be given an appointment for electric shock treatment to improve my energy level. If I'm not in A F why should I have this? I'd be grateful for anyone's advice or experience. TIA.

Echocardiogram report
The report says that I was in AF at the time of the scan with heart rate in excess of 140 so another
echocardiogram
will take place in a couple of months time to scan my heart when my heart rate has settled.

Aortic Root Dilation
I’ve recently had an
echocardiogram
and have just received a letter with the results. It says my aortic root is ‘mildly dilated with a dimension of 40mm at the level of the sinus of Valsalva’. This seems new - it hasn’t been raised in previous echocardiograms.

Waiting forever for Heart MRI
At my
echocardiogram
, I was told I needed to go direct to A&E and they they had spoken to cardiology and I was to be admitted. I wasn’t they just sent me home. Had to chase up my emergency cardiology appointment, which was a month from echo. Now I’m awaiting an heart MRI.
