Rate controlled AF with enlarged left venticle but good EF

I have recently had an echocardiogram, it shows I have a severely dilated left ventricle with good EF. I am overweight and in permanent AF rate controlled. Anyone else have something similar and if so have you had feedback from a cardiologist

I have a mildly dilated left ventricle with good ejection fraction. Cardiologist did not seemed concerned at this time as the key is how well the heart is pumping blood. However, this can progress and cause blood pumping issues.

Best to have annual echos at minimum.

Thank you. I have had no feedback as to how this will be monitored. I am disappointed in the lack of communication from the NHS professionals. I will speak to my GP. Thanks once again

Hi

Yes I have that too with R Ventricle regurgitation but systolic function and pressure normal, One value slightly leaking.

That is causing the AF Atrium Fibrillation/

I also have a soft systolic heart murmur.

My Locum says continue to take Bisoprolol that in 5 years it will improve. I think she means the severity of the dilation.
