Antibiotics and Increasing B12
Hi. I just got over a long bout with covid and am now on antibiotics (ceftin) for an ear infection (caused by covid). I've noticed since I began ceftin (8 days ago) that I'm experiencing fingers and toes tingling. Do you know if antibiotics can cause b12 depletion? I take daily 3000 mgs sublingually

Hello all, my tinnitus started around 6 years ago with a few days of pulsatile, which then ended but progressed onto very distant sshhh tinnitus. I have had two bad bouts of bppv ( managed by the figure of 8 manoeuvre) before the tinnitus and no recurrence since the tinnitus arrived. My brother has

Cardiovascular issues
Anybody out there with extra-cranial GCA / LVV, have any cardiovascular issues? I was having some shortness of breath, sleepiness & lightheadedness. I'm in the middle of testing for that, but a CAT scan showed I have a dilated aortic root and pericardial effusion. Those explained my symptoms, but neither

Vestibular Neuritis
Hi everyone, I woke up on New Year's Day with the room spinning around me. Very scary! Diagnosed as vestibular neuritis. My question is, I usually self inject weekly which I have continued to do. I don't know if I'm imagining it but the vertigo symptoms seem to greatly improve for a couple of days

10k or bust
this week my daughter and I decided we will run the Rotherham 10k on May 19th. Every year we as a family raise money for the hospital special baby care unit. This is because my 2nd granddaughter died there aged 7 weeks of sepsis. Ironically the same thing that killed my wife. So today I walked 10k!

Recommendations for overcoming dizzy episodes?
I have Tinnitus and Pulsatile tinnitus, since summer have had intermittent muffled ears, bit of dizziness. Past 3 weeks have had 24/7 clogged muffled ears like I've got my entire head wrapped in cotton wool and then in a box. What as really hit me hard is the swoosh of dizziness that suddenly hits

Diagnosed today with an acoustic Neuroma.
Hi Everyone. I have just been told this morning that my MRI confirmed an acoustic neuroma. The ENT Doctor said he is now referring me to a specialist in Manchester. Can anyone tell me what to expect now ? Did anyone have any treatment for it ? Thank you.

Sleep help with Tinnitus
Hi All, Iāve had a spike in my T since I was involved in a car accident a couple of months ago. I am deaf also so I wear hearing aids in both ears. I cope pretty well during the day and the hearing aids definitely help but at night itās another story. As soon as I take my hearing aids out the noise

Tinnitus for six weeks for no reason
Hi, I've now had tinnitus for six weeks. It's very high pitched (like one of those sonic cat scarers) and sounds like it's in my head rather than in my ears. I've also had on and off daily headaches for nine weeks. Been to the docs and she doesn't care - said the headaches and tinnitus weren't related
