I have Tinnitus and Pulsatile tinnitus, since summer have had intermittent muffled ears, bit of dizziness.
Past 3 weeks have had 24/7 clogged muffled ears like I've got my entire head wrapped in cotton wool and then in a box. What as really hit me hard is the swoosh of dizziness that suddenly hits me, generally when I'm sat, looking down...doing a crossword, trying to do a jigsaw...both things I love but have had to leave as they floor me. I've just written a very short shopping list and pow! It hits me like one of those big 🥊from the side in the old comedy sketches. So it's looking down where my eyes may be scanning. Reading is fine as I can hold it in front of me.
Saw the GP 1 week ago...she said Eustachian tube effusion and gave me Avamys for 4 weeks, return if symptoms worsen. So I don't want to bother her again, give it the time needed, and appreciate is very clearly related to the ears.
But I just wanted to know if anybody can advise how to manage these episodes....They generally last about 20 - 25 mins before I feel I can get up without wobbling...but can I do anything to recover more quickly or just minimise the impact....and when can I do my jigsaws again 😊
Thank you in advance
