Foam sclerotherapy

Has anyone had this procedure ether NHS or privately? I have recently had a stent fitted and blood clot removed. Since being bandaged on right leg for ulcers and wearing compression stocking on left leg for damaged saphenous vein I am not having the pain in either leg although I am still having two doses of oramorph for the ulcers which still flare up especially on treatment day. I am being fed the idea that it is simple pain free procedure but I don’t think it s and after all the pain I have had …….I am wary of the possibility that it not as easy as the vascular surgeon says. I am 79 years f age and I am wondering what compression stockings would work as well? Thanks CC
