Where now?
So it's now been a year since that fateful day when I decided to have a Facet joint injection, as nobody warned me of the actual risks, and ended up in this hell. I really don't know how some of you do it, I've only been in this state of constant severe never ending pain for a year and I'm about ready

Another procedure
I had my endoscopy in Jan and a coil fitted 3 days later was in horrific pain rang docs told take paracetamol "it's normal after operation". Suffered for another 2 days before my sister took me to A&E as I was climbing the walls in pain. After a a huge dose of oramorph and some scans told coil was sitting

Iatrogenic traumatisation, #1
Iatrogenic, for those not quite in the way of showing off, is illness caused as a result of medical treatment. Which could be another name for most of the sites on HU, I suspect. There should be a formal name for an iatrogenic illness by proxy, since as a result of the experience of my husband's treatment

Carpal Tunnel - how long does fingertip numbness last for??
Hi all, For our local church I cut some card shaped horses and in doing so have done something to a nerve somewhere in my wrist or hand or finger. My fingertip on the middle finger on my right hand is completely numb. At first I thought it would subside and thought I had just accidentally put pressure

Mycophenolate begone!
Hi, was going to post on Barnclowns myco thread but decided that any negative reaction to mycophenolate probably should go somewhere else. Spoiler alert - not a positive post having not been posting here for a long time though I do read every day. I have SLE / RA / Fibro, Reynauds, possibly vasculitis

Triamcinolone - anyone tried this?
Hello, I have just come across this drug, recommended for use against hay-fever and other allergies but co-incidentally also helping with RA pain. Does anyone have any experience of this drug please? As I've proved allergic to everything except Naproxen and Oramorph over the past 7 years, I'm curious

Newbie(ish) - feeling very down
I'm usually a completely glass half full person but I've felt really low for the last couple of days. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the beginning of 2016, as well as chronic sacroiliitis, to add to the rheumatoid arthritis, lower back issues and bursitis that I already had. What has really
