Gastritis
I’ve been diagnosed with gastritis and
duodenitis
and a sliding oesophageal hiatus hernia. Currently taking Pantoprazole 2 x 40mg and Nizatidine. Short term relief but all my symptoms are back 🥲. Changed my diet, lost weight (mainly due to not being able to eat) and still the symptoms are there.

Ectopic beats almost 25% with much esophagus burn and some nausea.
I do not have a major GI issue other than
duodenitis
, which is way down. And I take omeprazole for that. Before, I was given Flecainide as PiP for PACs, tried a few times, sometimes worked sometimes did not.

I’ve also been on Omeprazole for donkeys’ years and really can’t stop taking it because I had
duodenitis
badly years ago and still get acid indigestion sometimes, even with Omeprazole, so can’t see how I can stop taking it.

Unexplained Gastritis & Stomach Ulcers
I’ve struggled to find a good community to post this in but hopefully some of you guys can help :) I had an gastroscopy today & they found a bunch of ulcers all around my digestive tract, gastritis &
duodenitis
. The issue is, I have no idea what could have caused it!

Clopidogrel causing duodenitis?
The consultant wrote "
duodenitis
caused by clopidogrel" on his summary of findings. However, since then doctors have declined to go down the route of trying alternatives to clopidogrel, and deny it being the cause. I'm not sure why the resistance to this diagnosis?

Itchy skin with no rash
I had an endoscopy in mid November and was found to have grade 4 easofagitis, severe gastritis and
duodenitis
, with several lesions in the latter two areas. My hh had grown to 5cm. I was also diagnosed with Celiac disease via biopsy, which came as a shock, as never had allergies in my life.

Very worried about symptoms, need to see an endocrinologist, any recommendations in Hertfordshire/ surrounding areas
I’ve had Private CT scan, got diverticulitis and
duodenitis
. Been fobbed off by GP ,and not offered anything from hospital. I’m wondering if I should see a private Endocrinologist as I just want to feel well and be able to go out again. I’m putting results of last blood test. Thanks in advance 😊

Deeply grateful to all the replies about agonising shoulder pain
I previously suffered from
duodenitis
when taking nsaids, and was diagnosed by gastroscope, which involved large doses of Lansoprazole, so I am now careful and just took a few Ibuprofen instead of upping the Pred.

Hi I've, like everyone else with PA, have intrinsic auto antibodies, I've also gastric reflux, a hiatus hernia and chronic gastritis/
duodenitis
(had more than one gastroscopy done which showed it).

High B12
Was diagnosed with
duodenitis
. Was put on protonix. In recent bloodwork my B12 level came back over 2000. I DO NOT take b12 supplements and do not receive injections. Any ideas what would cause such high levels? I am actually a member of this site because my daughter has pernicious anemia.

MRI of spine
I have PA with severe digestive issues including chronic gastritis and
duodenitis
. The pain across my shoulders can be debilitating. Whilst I believe it to be due to the gastritis my GP wants it investigating. I have an MRI scheduled for my back.

Gastritis leading to anaemia
I have just had a gastroscopy and have gastritis and
duodenitis
, they now want to do a colonoscopy because I have low trasnsferrin (10) and haemaglobin levels of 110 which is a bit below the normal so I am anaemic. Has anyone else been down this path?

Endoscopy update for Acid Reflux, As promised
(good news) however the fifth picture showed signs of Erosive
duodenitis
so needs empirical eradication. His diagnosis… Classic erosive
duodenitis
but nil else of real note.(that’s what it say’s) Apparently this could have been caused by the 2 years on steroids. Or a dietary issue, who knows.

Help prior to SeHCAT
He already had gastritis and
duodenitis
but they found the latter to be severe this time. He doesn’t see this doctor again until October. Last Monday he was up 7 times in the night and felt so poorly we made a private appointment with a GI consuktant for the following day.

Malabsorption problem, digestive issues
I'm underweight and in pain a lot of the time due to
duodenitis
. I had the videocapsule down on Friday and I'll get the results This Next week. My GI doctor has discounted Small intestinal overgrowth due to the time lapse before producing hydrogen on my breath test.

Finally !
area also fill up with wind and acid reflux, my anxiety levels really increase and occasionally turn into a panic attack, one GP said it was just coincidence that I feel like this and has always dismissed my digestive problems, my other GP sent me for an endoscopy and CT scan with showed gastritis and
