Although I am on the wrong forum for my cancer I have found many of the side effects very similar. I have a facial cancer called Retiform hemangioendothelioma. Chemo was drastic despite being physically fit. Although chemo finished a year ago (Paclitaxel) I still have not recovered my voice lost during

Ablation tomorrow
Hey guys, I’m scheduled to have a RF cardiac ablation tomorrow for PSVT and I thought I’d create a post here. I’ve had the condition since I was in my teens and now 12 years later, I decided to opt for the ablation. The irony is I haven’t had any episodes in the last few months (I’ve had the odd flutter

Hi! My lg has recently finished a disimpaction regime as she had constipation linked to potty training. She is doing brilliantly...doing 1 poo a day at home (a few accidents but mostly in toilet/potty) & seems to recognise when she needs to go. However she is reluctant to poo anywhere but at home and

Doc wants me to stay on 25mcg levo, what do you think?
Hi, I have Hashi's and am strict gf, df, with all the usual supplements (selenium, Vit D and K2, B complex, methylated folate, Magnesium and Vit C) and take low dose naltrexone to keep the auto-immunity in check. I started 25mcg levothyroxine, Teva brand, 6 weeks ago and just got my NHS and Medichecks

15 year old son with giggle incontinence. Desperate to find a Dr to help as its affecting his mental health.
Hi I'm new to this forum. My 15 year old son has been told he has giggle incontinence and we have gone round and round in circles with GP, continence team and urologists but have got nowhere. We have now found out he's been lost in the NHS system and we have to start again. Next appointment is a few

Post Concussion Syndrome Five Years later... memory getting progressively worse?
Hi folks, 36 year old male, desk job 9-5, actively participating in sport (running and cycling), have always had good mental health and physical health. Just wanted to ask opinion. I took a knock on the head about 5 years ago (fell off bike - with helmet on!), and in the first six months/year I had

Chest pain relieved by popping your sternum?
Lately, I've been experiencing intermittent pain in my chest. It's kind of a throb, exacerbated by, for example, picking up something heavy. However, I've noticed that, when I arch my back far backward and, in so doing, pop my sternum (an audible "pop!" sound), it relieves the pain entirely. If I'm unable

Residential? Holistic care?
Hi, I’ve posted before so you may be aware that my son is coming up for 12, he’s had chronic constipation from a very young age. Currently on 9 movicol a day, 10ml dulcolax and 10ml senna with sporadic disimpactions. We’re ‘used’ to this game, daily accidents usually at least 3-4 a day, endless streams

Wetting and soiling, not getting anywhere with gp and paediatrician
Hello. My daughter who is 4 has been suffering with enuresis - daytime wetting for a year and a half now. She had a scan on her bladder and they said it was fine. She was prescribed oxybutynin and has been on it for 8 months although it doesn’t seem to do anything. The last 4 months she started soiling

What is wrong with me?
Well.. Everyone thinks I am normal. Sure enough i can act like I am on the outside but its been so long since I let anyone see how i really am on the inside. I guess it all started last year. I had a reliable best friend and a squad with me. I was happy. I know I felt happy. But I met this guy and..

Picture dissociation
So every year my mum goes to Spain in September for a month and I go around her flat to see her cats and most times what I often find doing is flicking though the mountain of old pictures she's has of me growing up with my cousin's, my grandparents, at school ect and I'm more fasanated with everything

Feeling pretty worthless
I am a twin and growing up both my brother and I totally idolised our dad. He was our hero and we both aspired to be like him, be as good as him and make him proud. My dad could deal with anything, he was a take charge man and always stepped forward, led from the front and help other. 5 years ago he

Bed wetter sometimes...
My 5 year old DD has not yet been fully dry at night and wears nappies / pull ups to bed. Every now and then she will not just wet her nappy but also poo in it too :( She is not constipated as the DR has checked everything and reassures me that she will grow out of bed wetting. I talk to her about it

Derealization I guess?
I think I have derealization? Right now I just feel: - really foggy like I’m partially not here - Deja vu-ish. - On edge - scared I have had these Deja vu feelings since last year. If you have looked at any of my past posts you know I am 90% certain I have epilepsy. I don’t shake or anything but sometimes
