Shingles vaccination
Hi, I know this has been the subject of previous posts, but, as it did not concern me at the time, I paid no attention to the replies! Anyway, yesterday I was told by a nurse in our surgery that I am now the right age for the shingles vaccination - I am 78. Are there likely to be any problems bearing

Results of endscophy for acid reflux
After a very long wait in reception (private hospital being use by NHS) was worked up with OBS and medics etc. I went for the sedation as recommended by my nurse friends. It was done quickly and without me remembering the prodecure pass lying done with mouth guard. Tiny erosions in pre pyloric areas

Can you get viral meningitis from mice or only bacterial meningitis?
Is it possible to get viral meningitis from mice or only bacterial meningitis? Because I got viral meningitis and my flat was full of mice and mice feces and urine and I have severe social anxiety and sometimes can go up to 6 months without seeing someone.I read somewhere on the internet that it's possible

Hi All, I'm interested to know if many asthma sufferers also have problems with athlete's foot/toenail fungus type issues? Any comments welcome.

Antibiotics - amoxicillin
Sorry, yet another question. I've recently had a tooth infection and my dentist prescribed a course of antibiotics - Amoxicillin. I'm aware that this is one of the two most effective antibiotics used for cellulitis. Should I be avoiding using them for anything other than cellulitis, or doesn't it

Hello all, I’ve been away from this site for quite some time. This forum was my lifeline when I was first diagnosed and I will be eternally grateful for it. For the past two years I have been doing really well. I started out anti CCP positive with bone erosions. I have since been able to do everything

Head pain 10 yrs after VM
I was diagnosed with viral meningoencephalitis (meningitis and encephalitis) in April of 2008...hospitalized for 2 wks, home for about a week and a half, then back in for 10 days. I have not been without head pain since April 14/2008. Some days are better than others, some days are pure hell, with vomiting

Lyme disease from UK spider bite?
Hi, a few years ago I got bit on the leg by what I think was a false white spider. I did not see the spider but the wound looks like others who had this bite. I remember the next few days feeling unwell and flu like. Dr gave 2 weeks of antibotics and it took 3 months to heal and I had to get the necrotic
