Stressing
I've been a bit quiet for a while but that doesn't mean to say I've stopped running. I've been ringing the changes with my runs and really enjoying them. Our park run was cancelled last week as part of the course was flooded but I got on the treadmill instead. I've also been going to my alternative

Low carb diets
On top of everything else I'm now pre-diabetic. I wasn't prior to starting the steroids but as I'm now on 2 mg of Prednisolone a day and have been on 5 mg or less for over a year I suspect that Prednisolone is not the culprit. I've been looking at a diabetic website and it says that low carb is less

Fatigue after eating
Husband is getting very sleepy after all meals. His sugar is always below 100 when tested, he takes levothyroxine for low thyroid (waiting for over 2 weeks now on latest blood work and TSH results from PCP. *sigh* He's taking a statin (can't remember the name) and Tamsulosin. Current cancer treatment

signs of mild hypothyroidism?
Hi there, New to this forum š grateful to be here š Iām wondering if anyone could shine some light on my thyroid test results. In March 2023 my TSH was 0.98 (range 0.27-4.2), and my T4 was 15.5 (range 12-22) - this was done with a private GP so sadly no T3. These bloods were taken after 12pm and

weight, diet and statins?
currently down to 5mg, generally chugging along ok, still working, but feeling occasional fatigue so assume Iām getting towards my own adrenals firing back up. Unfortunately Iāve put on about 25lbs over the last 15 months or so š so looking to maybe start trying to lose some. About 3-4 years ago

wheat in cosmetics
Iām recently diagnosed with coeliac disease. Iām following a gluten free diet but have noticed that a product I bought to promote hair growth contains wheat germ amongst many other ingredients. As this product needs to be massaged into the scalp should I not use it?

Moderate eating diary to track instances of GERD.
I have decided to keep a diary, consisting of my stomach condition on rising and the foods and medicines I take thereafter, during the day. And at what point, if any, I have symptoms of Gerd. The idea is is pinpoint what triggers, might be causing the (every 2 days a week or so) of pain and bloating I'm

Symptoms fluctuating
I am positive for Trab, TPO and Tg antibodies. I had Graves, was treated with carbi (didn't need high doses), went into remission and stopped carbi as per endo advice about 7 months ago (after 14 months of treatment), was ok for a few months and now, instead of suffering a hyper relapse as I thought

PMR and Gluten Free Foods
I have been on a Vegan diet for over 17 years. I have recently read that there is a direct correlation between Gluten and inflammation. Has anyone with PMR been on a Gluten Free diet and noticed any difference in their symptoms?

I was diagnosed May/June 23. I had just had my diabetes check and all was OK. Fast forward to December check and definitely not ok! I had been eating low carb and had lost weight. Life became very difficult from October with a nasty fall, mental heath crisis for our grandson while we were looking

How I reinvented myself after PMR
I have sat here and thought to myself I havenāt reinvented myself at all, I then thought again and realised that yes I have. Before my symptoms started I worked part time in a major supermarket and would take overtime. I started the symptoms and carried on thinking everything was okay and would improve

European Masters Championships 2023 Pescara, Italy 21/09-01/10, Intro and 100 metres
Iāve decided to split my report into sections as it covers three events and quite a few races. Itās also getting unimaginably long š¬ and I donāt like to keep folk waiting. This is the first instalment which sets the scene and covers the 100 metre event. Make yourself a nice cuppa tea and maybe even
