I am so worried
I have really bad health anxiety so my symptoms do not help at all. Just to add that I did 2 FIT test to check for hidden blood in stool over the last week and they were both negative. My symptoms are Constipation - resolved 3 episodes of Rectal Bleeding - April, August and October hopefully Now resolved

Extremely low fasting blood sugar reading.
I’ve always tended to low blood sugar readings 54-66 fasting. Non fasting it’s about 70. Even on prednisone the condition persists. My sister has the same problem and needs to eat between meals. Today my blood sugar fasting was 42(!), This was 12 hours past a decent supper. No diabetes either side of

Beef Cobbler with Cheese and Rosemary Scones for Lytham's Casserole Off
I apologise for the picture, it doesn't do justice to the casserole, however, in future I would add more stock, as the scones soak up a lot of the gravy. It tastes fantastic! Even if I do say so myself! :D
INGREDIENTS FOR 8 PORTIONS
900g braising/stewing/chuck steak cut into cubes 3 tbsp coconut

Statins
My GP wants me to start on statins based on an analysis of my cholesterol level and various other factors including postcode (not sure why this is a consideration as I live in a fairly ordinary surburban area). When I read up on statins I was rather put off when I read about the risk of type 2 diabetes

Blood results - no values given - advice please!
Hi All, so I've had my yearly blood test with full blood counts, fasting glucose, HBA1C and TSH. To get my results my GP practice doctor calls us and goes through the results; of which he only mentioned TSH, not all results so I had to ask for the fasting glucose and HBA1C. He seemed reluctant to discuss

Hi everyone.. does anyone have any idea whether donating blood reduces HBA1C levels for diabetics??
My hba1c level is 6.8 and I am maintaining it for last 2 years since I was diagnosed. No medicines prescribed yet. but I would like to start donating blood ..Just wanted to know whether this will affect my HBA1C results?

Help advice needed
Hi all, I really need some advice. I’ve been on T3 for the past 5 maybe 6 years. I can’t take thyroxine. For the past 6 weeks I’ve been getting breathless on exertion. This has increased and last night I ended up being admitted to N&N. High heart rate 177 BPM. X-ray taken and pulmonary oedema. Given

borderline diabetic? What medications can cause this?
I have been told by my GP that following my annual blood tests my blood sugar levels are raised suggesting I could be borderline diabetic. This has really shocked me as there is no known history of diabetes either side of my parental families and I am not obese, although a tad overweight. I was wondering

My fasting Blood sugar test was repeated and found to be 77mg/dL
In continuation to my previous three posts ( which you must read ), I am pleased to post my fasting blood sugar readings. The screen also shows my vitamin B12 & vitamin D level . My sufficient D level in my blood seems to have protected me from Covid19 so far 🙏with all blessings from "SUN GOD" , though

Does NDT affect blood sugar level?
I bought a blood glucose monitor a few weeks ago and have been checking my blood sugar level throughout the day. I take my meds at night (175mcg T4 & 0.75 Grains Erfa) and first thing in the morning my blood sugar is 3.6 - 3.8mmol/l. I also tried taking my Levo at night and NDT first thing in morning
